I've just bought one of these today, and I have to say that I'm pretty impressed with it. Took a coffee stain out of a cream carpet straight away. £110 well spent in my view. It does give you wrist ache after a while though.

Just picked up the platinum spot wash model for $169AUD and its great. I use a smaller dish scrubbing brush rather than the little scrubber attached to the head because it covers a bit more area and allows me to put a little more pressure behind it. I am pleasantly surprised at the quality. Remember to clean it properly after every use, or else gunk will build up, and you will have problems with it. Happy cleaning!

Just got mine today and straight out the box the machine is leaking from the base on the clean side, the clean tank is fine and does not leak, but the machine does when the tank is installed. Is this normal?

I just use a shop vac an extraction nozzle and a weed sprayer with whatever cleaning product I like it's basically the same thing and cost just under 100 bucks. Not as compact though
