Maaan, this is fantastic. Your lessons are not just explaining this stuff, but it's like hanging out with the coolest, weirdest, most spontaneous guitar teacher ever. Hope you are doing good, man, hope you doing good ;)

I went up to Guitar Center today to look at Ukes. I ended up just playing this really nice Martin mahogany guitar for like two hours. I had to leave and forgot to play them and check em out. I did play a twelve string and a Mandoline. I am looking for a major upgrade on my accoustic. You Sisters farm sounds great. Maybe do a little tour of the place. Did you say she raises bees? I would love to see that.

I could get stuck on a mahogany martin for hours, i completely understand! I'm headed back to my sister's to pick up the cats in about a week, I was going to take some footage then :)

It's fun to have all sorts of ukes! I mean, they're way cheaper than guitars. it's fun to have all sorts of guitars too. and golf clubs. and turtles. well there's my life in a nutshell.

i just have one uke. i have 7 guitars lol its fun. prob is 5 of them are right handed and im a lefty! its difficult to get lefty's in trinidad. so i restring them. meh lol

I find it interesting that even though this is a modified version, there are still very characteristic "EV" notes and phrases like the sus's and the walk ups that make this instantly recognizable as a PJ or EV sound. Does that make sense? Safe Travels.

Thank you so much for this fab tutorial, Ryan 🙏😃 I started playing the ukulele last Monday (just got a cheap Kmise Tenor to start with) but am already having a lot of fun with it 😊 I play classical guitar so I think that's helped me quite a lot but obviously it's not quite the same 😉 Loved your interpretation of Eddie Vedder's mandolin playing - other tutorials have oversimplified it in my humble opinion. Also loved your incredible sense of humour 😂😂 Will definitely be checking out more of your tutorials 😃 Best wishes from Norway 🇳🇴

@@RyanLendt Hahaha 😂 Thank you - it takes one to know one, as they say 😃 In my case I blame my sense of humour on my British stepfather and growing up in the UK 😉 You're welcome!!! Really enjoyed Here Comes The Sun and actually managed to play that - getting Rise to stick to my Teflon-covered brain will take a little longer 🤣 Have a great weekend 😃

Thanks Ryan for another awesome tutorial! Can I ask what brand/ type of uke you have? Mine seems a lot smaller (less frets!) 🙂
@RyanLendt4 жыл бұрын
That particular one is a Penguin brand. I know next to nothing about ukuleles, and own just two. this is the larger of the two. My uke buying advice is: spend more than $50 and get something you like. You really can't go wrong :)

Saludos
@RyanLendt4 жыл бұрын
translation for anyone who may read: I do not understand why to record it in "nature" when what least respects is nature ... Since it takes out and uproots all vegetation that bothers you ... It is contradictory ... Musically very good, but it is irritating to see how the vegetation bothers him and cuts the video
