I think this is an important subject!! Sadly I do not think many are heeding this message though. I have really let my prepping go by the way side but have lately been renewing my thoughts that I need to start again. The not buying of frivolous things is where I have started. It is funny that you mentioned it, you and another friend that has done a video in a long time mentioned it last night in a live stream..I know this is a great starting spot. I have also been renewing my interest in canning again. I am a not an investor in stocks..nor in bitcoin. I should learn, but a bit hesitant. Darrel is a great guy for sure!!

get a zero water filter...filter the water before you store it...

Its municipal water, so its already treated. I already have an Aqua Rain gravity filter, but having a backup would definitely be a good idea.

Your idea on how you do your banking and paying your bills is something I've been doing for around 10 years. I get direct deposit and only leave in enough to pay bills and $75-100 for life's little unseen extras. The rest is removed in cash. Won't agree with you about crypto, just don't believe in electronic money.

I'm only involved with crypto now because it isn't costing me anything to accumulate it and it could potentially turn into a lot more $ than it's currently worth. No sense in throwing money away......

Stock market crash hits the rich and the very rich . The knock on effects will effect us all , if job loss or job wage cuts or short hours . crypto-currency is fine when things are on the up , if things go bad who regulates or backs up this currency ? Think about it this way the rich or very rich might dabble in it , but will not risk their wealth in it until we see how it goes under stress , but we might find out soon . Bank bail outs the last time was very unpopular for sure , however to not save the banks would have been absolutely catastrophic . If crypto is in big trouble ,Gov's around the world will not step in to save the day . This is my opinion only . Any financial adviser worth their salt will advise the best way to survive a financial storm is pay off debt first , never borrow money to buy gold . Here in Scotland UK money in Banks are protected up to £80,000 per account , so if the Banks go down the Gov / country goes down also that's when S really HTF .
