I think L!Alm is particularly funny with Hexblade because he's like "You have 40 defense and 16 res? Take 6 true damage for that, and also I'm hitting your Res" Edit: I thought it was 15% not 25%, the actual number is 10

L Yuri has a niche, and it's not L Alm's. L Yuri moreso has a supportive role in ally positioning using Foul Play, his Prf which also helps his allies, and having the means to target a specific foe with his extra move. Whereas L Alm always has been a tank buster, and that's his niche.

I'm actually glad L!Yuri is NOT a better L!Alm. I'd be even glader if L!Alm didn't exist at all, but that's beside the point. L!Yuri is a perfectly functional offensive unit with great range and decent support abilities, and he avoids the stall trap OG!Yuri tends to fall in. We honestly don't need another meta-breaking legendary/mythic/brave unit. L!Yuri's fine.

@@MrXav94 L!Alm is a ranged unit. Ranged tank busters are ill-designed units since they can do their jobs through obstacles and from a tile away, meaning they're only a reposition away from forcing the opponent's units to overextend in order to catch him. I'm fine with offensive units being able to outstat a tank provided enough ressources, I'm not fine with a unit that is straight up punishing them for doing their job, especially from range. I can forgive B!Eirika since she has to get in and proc her special to do the busting. Thank god L!Alm doesn't have that easy of an access to canto. Tank busters might have been a debatably necessary evil back when IS was going crazy with the fighter skills and dragarmors with a boatload of stats. Nowadays they're mostly outclassed by standard offensive units, most of the current successful tanks aren't all that reliant on their defensive stats aside from their HP, preferring to keep up with offensive units by means of damage reduction. Still, L!Alm is here to ruin the day whenever someone makes an attempt at using a civilised tank that only relies on their Def to ward off damage, and I don't particularly enjoy that, whether i'm the one using him or his victim.

I actually have a similar build for my +SPD Legendary Alm (minus the floret or the extra dragonflowers), but I gave him Watersweep 3 for his ‘B’ skill & NFU as the sacred seal instead. Makes him even more fun to use.

As someone who has not gotten a SINGLE Alm since starting, I must ask…how many Legendary Yuri's did you summon to give Alm Atk/Spd Hexblade?? UPDATE: I got Legendary Alm! Now I just have to wait for Legendary Yuri to be in another remix banner, just so I can give Legendary Alm Atk/Spd Hexblade!😁

Alm only weakest, he need Null follow up take up a slot, which make him vulnerable to those high speed units.

@@elgatoalf yea, your not wrong on that. But it makes it easier in a sense, his always set up to 1 shot any opponent. Hell just before i used him to Solo an Arena team of All Formotiis. Had L!Robin on the team & L!Alm 1HKO all of them. While it'd be better to get Spd Pre-empt probably. I 1 don't have it available for him yet & 2 just like the idea of stacking more True Dmg

If i were in your shoes, id merge up 2 and manual the 3rd, just in case you decide to commit to a favorite who may fall in the inheritance pool. In my case, i would have given it to Base Laevatein 🐀
