I’m trying to figure out how to haul 2 kayaks and a camper and don’t want to put a kayak rack on back of the camper. Thinking about copying your setup. Are you satisfied with how it turned out? Anything you would change?

I’m very satisfied with the combo. We’ve traveled from Texas to Michigan to Glacier NP to Yellowstone and have had no issues. It keeps the rain out really well, it doesn’t flap in when driving at high speeds, holds the kayaks tight without any shaking. I definitely recommend it!

Whats the maximum weight capacity

Hi! The aluminum upright kits have a load capacity of 250 lbs. per cross bar and a maximum static load capacity of 1,000 pounds. I pulled that info off their website. We are only using the truck rack for 2 kayaks, so this more than enough strength to hold them safely. 👍
