Congrats! Very nice and natural sounding track. I am a proud owner of Anthology library but I am tempting to buy this Soundpaint version too. 25GB session size looks good for me. Thank you for your helpful video!

Great arrangement! Do the spiccatos have round robins? Can the spiccatos be played like a piano with key velocities instead of the mod wheel controlling the spiccato velocity?

They all have a round-robin option, but the viola spiccato doesn't have it enabled by default for me. I have to select "velocity note response". However, even then the viola doesn't seem to have much dynamic range with the spiccato articulation. Note sure why. It doesn't have the same intensity of the player "digging in" to the strings like the violin does.

@@ianrees3932 Thank you so much for your reply and placing light on the subject. For now I only bought the flute from SP and it does not have round robins for the staccatos so I just wanted to make sure before I buy anything else. From the videos it sounded like the adastra solo strings also did not have round robins for the spiccatos so I was worried and not sure if I should buy anything else from SP.

Very nicely done. I have a question - can the solo cello be played without vibrato? Are there samples without vibrato "baked in"?

The solo cello has vibrato baked in. I tried experimenting with the time feature to see if I could extend the start of the sample but that did not work out well.

I don't see any so I don't think so. Maybe they'll add some in the future with an update if people request it.

@@ianrees3932 Oh.. ok. When you check the product page under specs (adastra full section) it says, "Full Ensemble Programs ONLY Available In Bundle", so i thought this may be some kind of preset of all the bundle combined. So im not sure. Anyways thanks!!

@@hugoalejandro27 alright I solved this. You do get full ensemble programs, but I couldn't see them until I used the new downloader in the Soundpaint 3.1 update, which is being released this week. They didn't show up in Soundpaint 3.0 but you are correct that if you buy the bundle then you are also getting the full ensemble programs. And yes they are presets, not new samples. Thanks for getting me to track this down!

Can you automate the time module, to simulate a vibrato speeding up?

Yes! Actually I completely forgot to mention in the video that the Time module is tied to the mod wheel by default but at its most extreme settings, which sounds very silly. So you can just adjust the range to make it more realistic.
