We go early in the morning with Gul Mohammad Chupan, 60 years old.Gol Mohammad goes to the Zagros mountains of Iran every day to graze his goats.
Gol Mohammad has been living in this mountain village since he was a child and has many years of experience as a shepherd.With great skill and experience, he takes his herd of goats to graze in the valleys and green slopes of the mountains.
Gul Mohammad portrays the way of life of the nomads of this region along the way.He shows that nomads move seasonally between mountain areas to graze their livestock.This way of life allows them to make optimal use of mountain pastures.
Gol Mohammad proudly talks about the rich traditions and customs of Iranian nomads.He shows how this way of life is both compatible with the preservation of the environment and helps preserve the cultural heritage of the region.
Early in the morning, we went with Gul Mohammad, the man of the family, to take the herd to the mountain pastures. A tree that looked like a grenade was seen in the middle of the road. Gul Mohammad went to the top of the hill and regained his strength with fiery tea and local bread and yogurt.
