It's great to see the care of the cows again and the good infection control procedure Maria uses with the cow. She wore a very pretty dress today but I do not know why she works so hard wearing dresses the pork cutlets looked mouth-watering. It amazes me the process in curing their hay and how Maria makes sure that there are no weeds in the hay that could make the cows sick. She is always working so hard and that is admirable. Despite growing up in a city, I have done a lot of work with animals have very much enjoyed it in the past but it is hard work. May God bless Maria and keep her strong and healthy. Sorry but, one of the most important things in life is animal welfare, protecting them, and giving them a voice…..I understand the videos are quite interesting, Maria’s work ethic, etc……and she knows nothing different but the life she leads…..but let’s be honest, a big part of these women’s life is using animals, keeping them locked up for the sole purpose of slaughtering and eating them…..as a vegan of course it goes against my ethics….she owns animals who will never see the light of day…they live in barns, alone….even has the dog in the cage …….ALL animals have the right to be free. Like us..

What a busy lady Maria is, almost a study in perpetual motion and never a wasted movement, with purpose displayed in everything that she does. Her beautifully coloured belongings adorning her property as they dry in the sun adding to the scenic beauty that she lives amongst. I think that Maria epitomises all that is worthy about her people. Their wonderful work ethos, ability to make their lives productive, meaningful and of course, their love of their land. The food, as always, prepared and appreciated as Maria sits down to eat, and the cameramen no doubt salivating as they await their time at the table. Brilliant as always and a pleasure to watch. Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m glad to hear that you find inspiration in what I do. The calf can still drink from its mom after milking, but sometimes we separate them for a short time to ensure the calf gets enough milk while also saving some for other needs.

No doubt she is very talented and hardworking but, seriously, this is entertainment, not reality. It's called 'content creation'. She has a film crew and the big blue house has all modern conveniences where she actually does day-to-day cooking and also rents out part of it as an AirBnB so she has plenty of income. I also very much enjoy watching these videos because they remind me of how we lived on a farm in Michigan when I was a small child, many years ago. I still cook all my meals in a tiny kitchen each day, using fresh meat and vegetables from the daily farmer's market but not on a wood stove :-)
