Thanks for a great review! This is my first “Matt” review I’ve watched from Bloom Audio. As a result I purchased the Project M! We must have similar taste in tuning because I love these! Prior to watching your review all the other reviews I watched kept drilling down on “treble” which I can be sensitive to and I was about to rule them out. But the details you shared and enthusiasm for them had me thinking differently… and now has me questioning my tuning compatibility of some of my favorite viewers. 😮 I can honestly say my initial impressions are better than those of my recently acquired 7th Acoustics Super Nova. It’s early days and I’ve not made any firm decisions on returning the Super Nova - I’m too busy enjoying Project M. Thanks again!

Just wanted to follow up with my review! Let’s just say that these are amazing especially for the price point. Build quality is great and comfort is by far one of the best. There is something special about the sound where you can hear everything with ease. Everything sounds where it is suppose to be. Nothing out does the other and it just sounds smooth. To keep it fair, I did AB them against my Yanyin Cannon 2 since they are in the same price range. I found myself going back to the Project M every time because I couldn’t get enough of the sound signature. I normally don’t base products off of Dac/Amps but I found the Project M breath taken when paired with the iFi Neo idsd 2; specifically when the blue “X Bass” was on. So needless to say, I couldn’t recommend this product enough especially if you rock iFi gear!
@TheVeganVicar6 ай бұрын
I own the iFi Phantom but the X-bass function is definitely unnecessarily if you can find a pair of eartips that enables deep bass, I can assure you!
@TheVeganVicar6 ай бұрын
So, after auditioning them, did you purchase a pair?
@vinnydolce5416 ай бұрын
@@TheVeganVicar After the demo, I choose to purchase the Dac/Amp since they was my main reasoning for coming to the studio. However, I will be purchasing them on my next pay or even this week once my old Dac/Amp sells.

I fully agree with every word of your review... These IEMs are amazing and really have something special going on with their airy, sparkly treble and effortless resolution. Proper pairings (source, cable, tips) are super important though. Synergizes very well with warm sources. HIGHLY REC'D!!!

Ive got one 3 months ago. Now after some hours of use I think they are gettin better, kind of more warm. Its not a basshead inear, but with the right ear tips and proper seal it can get really satisfying in the bass region! Thanks for your great review. Hi from Rio, Brazil

I agree, they definitely warm up and really sound fantastic the more and more you listen to them. Thanks for checking out the review, and I hope all is well over in Rio!

I fully disagree. I managed to get them sounding VERY bass heavy with a pair of generic eartips. Even though I'm somewhat of a basshead, I was forced to remove those generic eartips, in favour of a rather more balanced pair of tips (KBEAR 07 or FiiO HS18).

I find Thieaudio Hype 4 and Simgot EM10 the much better choice

What eartips you are using?
@TheVeganVicar6 ай бұрын
It's not a basshead earphone, you say? You haven't heard them with the same eartips that I (briefly) tried. I wish I could recall the tips I used to achieve such a thick bass response. I think it was either the KBEAR 07 tips, or else a pair of cheap generics I bought from a Chinese online store.
@MatthewDiFazio6 ай бұрын
You have a good point with how the bass response is quite thick, but I wouldn’t say it’s your prototypical bass head IEM. But yes, it can be quite bassy depending on your eartip selection and or seal :-)
@TheVeganVicar6 ай бұрын
@@MatthewDiFazio, by "thick", I mean it sounded a tad muddy, but also highly--elevated in the bass (in other words, "BASSHEAD" levels of bass). Again, it depends on the tips and the depth of insertion.

Thanks for the review❗️👏 only thing… I can’t agree on the bass asessment. Yes as for quantity Blessing 3. But I’m kind of shocked by the texture, decay, sense of space of the Project-M bass, it might be my favourite part of the IEM. I have another IEM called Symphonium Meteor. That’s the first time I heard this beautiful textured bass. I thought it will be a long time to find such a bass again. I found this same magic, textured even maybe more delicate bass in Project M. Incredible . I guess made in Singapore. That’s how they do it❗️😁

It is very good, and I agree, there’s more to it than just mere quantity. Overall, Project M is just fantastic all around. I love this IEM a lot. So is Symphonium Meteor - I only got a brief listening session on that one in CanJam, but really liked it a lot. Thanks for watching the review, and happy listening! 😁

@@jaroslavfricek7772, in brief, it is ABSOLUTELY possible to attain a basshead sound signature with the right eartips, as did I.

Unless you are accustomed to multi-thousand-dollar earphones, you won't be disappointed. Just remember to take your eartip collection with you, especially the FiiO HS18 (if you have a pair).

I have a question if I may off the topic, I am looking for ultimate soundtrack slayer IEM, with beautiful tonality, texturing, something that could play Two steps for Hell breathtakingly....any rec..😆😊♥️🙋♂️

For an absolute no-limits pick, probably EE Raven. In the $1000 range, I'd say Thieaudio Prestige LTD, and sliding down to this price range, I might actually pick the Project M.

Truth. It’s a fantastic time to be a buyer in this price range. I’m hoping to check out DaVinci in the coming days, really excited about that one. I’m also curious about Pilgrims tuning revision and how that saga develops. That could change a lot about how I view that IEM.

@@MatthewDiFazio what's the controversy with the Pilgrim?
@MatthewDiFazio5 ай бұрын
@@TouzeenHussain not sure if it’s much of a controversy, but Super* Review posted a (excellent) review on the Pilgrim, and found that it graphs quite differently from its pre release model and the model that’s out now. The sound signature has changed quite a bit, and from the looks of it, it appears as though it’s changed for the worse :-/
