Solid review my boy! Just so everyone knows, this is by far the BEST sub 1k IEM in the market at the moment. I cant describe how clean it really does sound overall!

2 questions, any comparisons between the Spinfit W1 and Omni? Next, how about comparisons to other all-BA sets, regardless of price? Thinking about the U12T and V16 Divinity. Thanks for the review! The smoothness sounds pretty enticing to me!

Sure, so the Omni is really just a smaller W1, so I feel like while W1 does a good job of offering a pretty balanced listen with maybe a slight treble emphasis, Omni just gets your inner ear much closer to the nozzle, allowing for more of that low end to really come through. I’ve seen some folks at CanJams and even demos in our office not get a good bass response from IEMs that I’ve found to have a good amount of bass to them, and after switching them to the Omni, they’ve noticed an improvement there as well. Hope this helps! As for a Supernova comparison to these two IEMs, I’d say U12t takes a lot of what Supernova does really well and basically just takes it up a notch. Treble detail is slightly better, sub bass is more extended, and the sound stage and imaging is just slightly wider and more fleshed out. However, I would say the mids would come down to preference as they both offer a really great midrange here, but my tastes would still reside with supernova. V16 is just going to be more aggressive and lively. Bigger bass and spicier treble. I actually absolutely love the V16, and if you’re looking for a very upbeat and energetic sound signature from an all BA IEM, V16 divinity is an excellent pick.

I guess my comment never posted (hotel WiFi moment), so sorry for this being late. SpinFit W1 is just a slightly longer/larger Omni, so I’ve found the W1 to be slightly more bright where the Omni is more bass forward. A lot of folks who weren’t getting great bass on sets I’ve found to be very low end centric have switched to Omni and found that bass to really come forward. Just some things I’ve found in both my listening and others! As for a comparison to U12t, I say U12t does just about everything supernova does and turns it up a notch. Bass is slightly more engaging, mids are really comparable but slightly less forward and more natural, and the high end is slightly more revealing. The staging and imaging is also slightly more holographic and 3 dimensional. Overall, U12t is still just one of the top sets in the world, and is a great alternative to Supernova if your budget allows. V16 Divinity is much more exaggerated and prevalent. It has much harder hitting and more impactful bass. Its mids are more colored as well, but still quite natural in their delivery. And the top end has a little more spicy and can get hot more often. However, I absolutely love the V16 divinity. If supernova doesn’t excite you, and you want something else very exciting as an all BA set, V16 is exactly that. I hope this helps!

Great review Matthew👌👍 Can I ask you about other IEM, acrually completely different from Supernova😆. Iam thinking about Noble audio Spartacus. I know Bloom’s audio written review. Is there a reason you didn’t do a video review? Did you personaly like it? Thank you❗️🙋‍♂️

Hey! Thanks so much for watching and the kind words, I appreciate it :-) hahaha. Spartacus is much more aggressive than what most of Nobles lineup offers. It takes a lot of what Noble does well in the treble and mids (mids being slightly recessed to make room for the bass) and just adds a generous amount of bass impact and attack to the sound signature. It’s a very easy and fun listen, but doesn’t seem to miss out on technicalities too much either. I’ve found a few options to fit my tastes a little better around that price range, but for a lot of people, it’s a very easy daily driver to own and absolutely love. As for no video review, I think this one just slipped through the cracks? Don’t think there’s a specific reason quite honestly, lol. It may be worth revisiting at one point, so thanks for the heads up!

@@jaroslavfricek7772 sure thing! If you’re looking for a good amount of bass, V16 Divinity, 64 Audio Nio, and Empire Ears Triton in that price range are all IEMs I really enjoy. If you feel like Spartacus has looked good from graphs and reviews you’ve seen online, throw that into the mix and I think you’d walk away with a killer IEM no matter what you chose. Just my thoughts 😁

Great review! How does the Supernova compare to the Yanyin Carmen, Aful Cantor, Dunu Glacier, and U4S?

I’ve only listened to the Yanyin Cannon 2, and haven’t gotten anytime with Aful’s lineup yet :-/ sorry about that Compared to DUNU Glacier, I’d say Supernova is much warmer and tonally sweeter. I found Glaciers midrange to be slightly cold at times, so the more warm and lush supernova is more up my alley there. In the low end though, Glacier is more prominent here with slightly more sub bass and also some more mid bass as well for better impact and hit. I prefer the treble on Supernova, but glacier has a solid treble response as well with a good amount of sonic information captured. The biggest difference I find between the two is sound stage and imaging. Glacier is remarkable in its soundstage presentation. Incredibly wide without feeling artificial. If you like staging and separation within an IEM, Glacier does an awesome job at it. U4s is just another set that I feel like I could recommend to a lot of folks and everyone would have at least something good to say. Another safe tuning that just does everything right. Awesome bass, great mids, and fantastic treble. If you’re in between these two as two purchasing options, you’re walking away with an amazing set. But the biggest discrepancies will come down to midrange preference, and whether or not you want that slightly spicier 64 Audio Tia driver treble. If you want a slightly more neutral midrange without that coloration and warmth, U4s would be the pick. But for something more warm, Supernova. And that treble will just come down to tolerance and really what you’re looking for. Hope this helps 🤘

Thank you! Same thing as another comment, I guess my response never got posted because of the hotel WiFi I responded on. I have only heard Yanyin Cannon 2, and haven’t gotten time with Afuls line up yet. However, DUNU Glacier and U4S are two IEMs I’ve spent a good amount of time with. DUNU Glacier is definitely more cold (no pun intended) in the mids, more impactful in the bass, and sharper in the treble. It’s actually somewhat of an anti supernova, lol. Just much more aggressive in everything it does, and it does elevate things slightly in the staging and imaging. Overall, for a more up beat listen, Glacier is probably a good choice, but for an all around pick, I’d say Supernova would be my pick. U4s is interesting comparatively. They’re somewhat on the same level of what they’re looking to do the bass, but the treble is slightly hotter on the U4s and the mids are similar to how the U12t presents them - slightly less warm, and a little less colored. I think the U4s is more to the point, where Supernova is slightly warmer and more lush. I hope this helps!

Thank you for the detailed comparison. Sounds like both the Supernova and U4S are excellent all arounders. I’m assuming you were using the M12 module version of the U4S for your comparison.

@@jackhandy6211 yeah! I’ve used all of them pretty extensively, but use the m12 as a baseline anytime I compare 64 audio IEMs to something. I personally use the M20 gold ones on my Nio though… awesome bass response.

Great IEM. Although after using Supernova I unfortunately tried Twilight and can't say it is a Blind Buy, and it is a big thing to say but I was missing the mids of supernova on them too. Lower mids are like something I crave for and almost endgame for me in IEM category. Although certain peaks in the treble do make it a bit upfront.
