So… you ALWAYS GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. There are almost no exceptions to this. I bought FoKus Prestige from you and absolutely love them. And I also have Apple AirPods Pro 2. The sound quality is 3x better than AirPods Pro. The build quality is far better as well. I use my AirPods Pro 2 for phone calls, KZbin Videos, podcasts, etc. I use FoKus Prestige for Tidal. Never forget that you always get what you pay for.

I really like your descriptions on the sound signature. It is detailed and easily 'imaginable'. The best descriptions I have heard thus far. I own 3 pairs of Noble's TWS (Falcon, Falcon Pro and Fokus Pro), I can see the improvements with each of the versions. Hopefully the Prestige is another level. Still looking forward for this pair.

In my opinion, the soundstage and instrument separation of Fokus is the limitation of Qualcomm’s DAC. I tried Svanar and UW100 mk2, both has better imaging than Fokus because they have a separate DAC.

I already have uw100ii2, I use those for sleeping and for vr, and prestige for everything else. Japanese classical and anime/movie scores on the a&k are great. The transparency is better on the prestige too by a little bit, it compliments my grand seiko beautifully and further enhances my artisnal aethstitic in taste of accessories.

Can't you just turn up the mids and highs or lower the lows for the noble fokus prestige in the app to match the svanar wireless excluding the stereo imaging and separation???

Yes, for tuning, you can certainly fill in some mids via EQ. So if you like the rest of the package better with Noble, you can achieve a tuning closer to Svanar with the app.

I clean my stuff with wet wipes. I'm worried about the wood exterior. Is there any coating to allow me to clean the wood?

There's a fairly thick finish on the wood which should make it same to clean. We use alcohol based lens wipes in house for most basic cleaning as they're specifically formulated to be safe on most coatings.

How about some songs and specific time stamps to go with your tasting notes? Especially where you compare the previous generation to the current model you're reviewing. It would help to know what you were talking about when it comes to where one fell short and one improved a particular sound.

So I didn't include the exact notes on the comparison between Prestige and Mystique in the video or written review, but the main note I remember was in some of the jazz tracks and film score tracks (Coltrane's Blue Train album and the Dune soundtrack in particular), where Mystique bloated the bass in spots where Prestige clean it up, and gave me a cleaner midrange transition and a slightly less warm/more natural timbre.

Hello. Great review, but you forgot to talk about the case usb-c charging port. Prestige case uses an extended usb-c that comes with it. You CANNOT use a normal usb charging cable with it. You HAVE to use thiers (they give you a usb-c adaptor too). I did not like that at all. To fix that issue, I already had a brand new FoKus Mystique set. I just switched cases. They are exactly the same except for the look. Everything works great! (the prestige case is bigger too)

Thanks for adding that info! What's weird is that I didn't actually use the packed in cable to charge, but it may have just been another cable with a more extended USB-C. I just tested with a couple other cables, and you're correct that it doesn't work with most.

as a samsung user, if using svanar with LDAC vs Prestige without LDAC on samsung phone, is Prestige going to sound noticeably inferior?

It won't be constantly noticeable, but when you're listening closely, you'll definitely catch more of the small details and textures with Svanar + LDAC than with Prestige + aptX.

My main gripe with the Fokus lineup is the atrocious call quality where I had to shout for anyone to hear me. No IP water resistance meant they were as fragile as wired IEMs. For some reason every Noble TWS doesnt last more than 2 years without one side ceasing to work no matter how much I took care of the thing. The sound quality was severely reduced using iPhone’s AAC vs their own current AirPods Pro 2. They were pretty much the same sound quality in terms of resolution, the codec limits the potential of the Fokus Pro. I doubt the Prestige will be an improvement on an iPhone either. Stick to the AirPods. I can’t even justify having the new Bowers & Wilkins PI7 S2 or Devialet Gemini 2 either as the Pro 2 still was sounding just as good. Get these if money is no object as those $600 will be thrown in the trash in less than 3 years or less if you get any sweat or rain on them. If you’re an iPhone user, stick to the AirPods Pro 2 as these will likely not even sound as good using Qualcomm’s chip on iPhone’s AAC.

none and both an utter waste of money just get an andriod phone that supports the codec, why pay 400 bucks and you can only use half the features or get half the sound quality and everything else wont work as well. For all that get and airpod cause you are basically buying a car and saying keep the radio, a/c, trunk, windows and just have seats and wheels. Iphones can't support any high end or high res codec and its a waste to pay for tidal and it going to give you the lowest quality of music even if you pay for higher quality.

There are a few small changes to the internal components from Mystique which a difference in the resolution, but the general tuning is the same.

Unfortunately the most popular Android phone is Samsung made, and don't have Aptx Adaptive/HD only LDAC because of some weird tension they have with Qualcomm. That means if you have a Samsung phone you can never get the maximum potential out of the Fokus Prestige.

There's no true ANC, but the Transparency mode is comparable to Svanar's when I tested them.

@@BloomAudio only after I commented I understood from the video that there is no ANC. Still might consider these as a replacement for the wfxm5 after the disappointment with the quality of bass and sub bass on them

How long does the battery last? It can't be changed.

I don't have a good estimate on the total lifetime of the battery. You can expect about 10 hours of use per charge, and the case holds about 2 additional charges for 30 hours total listening time between full charges.

I can make some comment about it. its not 100% accurate but consider like up to 4 years 80% of capacity can be fine. later on it'll be died. the buds goes to garbage :( @@jorisconte9180

Android/aptX is a step up in clarity and resolution over Apple/AAC, but it's the sort of difference that's probably not noticeable if you're doing anything other than sitting still and listening intently.

Thease are not going to do well. Transparency mod is not necessery but ANC? MAN. People use them in trains buses airplanes or during walks in cities. This is must have. No tws will be able to match sound quality for money. So I think they need to have some extra features.

That's a good point, and I honestly don't recommend these for travel or commute, but there are lots of other uses for TWS. Personally, main TWS uses are around the house, and at my kids sports practices - both cases where transparency is more useful than ANC. But yes - for most people there are better choices for air travel or a train/bus commute.

@@BloomAudio for home use you can buy some wired iems which will just destroy them in terms of sound quality even for half the price. No point in buying thease

@@szybkizenek6292 if you think transparency is not important but no ANC is the end of the world, then chances are you'd know wired iems are nowhere near as practical and you might as well sit down inside with also no ANC completely condradicting yourself that ANC is needed. All the best ANC earbuds are none audiophile brands. My ak uw100mk2s don't have ANC either and block out enough sound, it's transparency could be better but is usable. Noise cancelation will either add to the price or useable space within the tws iem, therefore if you want the best quality, you ditch them. Use common sense. Look how the svanar wireless turned out, they dropped ldac wireless charging and carbon fiber for the $300 LE version which is half the price of the fokus prestige and has anc and transparency, look at the size of those. Then look at the size of the prestige. Even with the $500 carbon fiber model, LDAC is useless outdoors too. Only making the $300 LE svanar wireless useable outside. Buy those for outside, and prestige for inside.
