Couple of suggestions if I may: How about some JB Weld for the spacer so that you don't ruin the paint? Use a magic marker to mark the spot around. Tape up to the mark or, use the spacer for the marker, cut around it in a wide piece of painters tape, put the tape over the area to be glued and then the JB Weld will barely be seen at all. I'd also cut off the trailer stinger, redrill the hole so your trailer ball sits closer to the rear wheels. This will exert less downward force behind your rear axles. Will also make backing the trailer much easier. Another great video young man! Keep'em coming.

Thank you Max , I may use JD weld for the spacer, you’re right about the hitch, but I’m not going to use it that much , mostly to pull in an out of garage once an a while.

@@michaeljessie1853 Think you'll be a lot happier with how it will carry the tongue much easier and it will be a lot easier on the mower. You can check how much difference in tongue weight if you wanted.

Speaking from experience….I wouldn’t tow anything heavier than a garden cart. I own a 2013 Hustler Fastrak I bought new. It has 350 hours on it and my right side pump is ready to crap out. A replacement is $1750 plus labor. It’s the ZT3100 just like your XDX. About a dozen times over the last ten years I used it to tow my 6’ x 10’ utility trailer from the back of my lot to the front…about 150’. The tongue weight is less than 100# and I weigh 180. All scheduled hydraulic services have been done by the dealer. Imo, if you need to tow then a garden tractor is a better option….but they don’t mow nearly as well as a zero turn.

The knob size is 1/4 X1-1/2. Use your bolt that hold your plate take it with you to be sure you get the right bolt that fit the knob make a longer one that you make work I hope this helps . I got the knobs at TSC store.
