Why did you choose that, is it home wiring copper? I guess if you just have it laying around... I just learned about marine grade wire being tinned. But a thick 12 or 14 gauge copper should last a long time. I'll probably be doing the same thing here soon.

I used 12 gauge residential solid electrical wire left over from a home project. This wire worked out better for me than stranded wiring. 😊👍
