I would have cut the rumble cables and twisted them back together afterwards, and also taken the opportunity while open to fit a stick drift repair chip so you can prolong the life of the controller

I'm not as brave as you are to do this type of a mod, but very nice attention to detail and instructions! If I ever decide I want to do this I know where I can go to see a step by step guide. Thanks!

Very well done. Is the end result better or worse than the Elite Series 2 controller? The price difference is about €100, but also saves quite a bit of work. As a side note, you might have an easier time soldering with an iron made for electronics. A cheap Chinese one for €20 will do great. Respect for getting the job done with this one, but I wouldn't dare do anything finer than plumbing with it 😅.

Yeah I feel you but also for a controller and this kit it costs the same as a barely used or open box elite 1

But this kit lets you use your controller on switch and ps4, and adds gyro which is a bonus

Hi, I got bought this kit for Xmas. I have finished it just now. All the tp lights are on and the controller is back together however the stick is flicking around the screen, left one. And I've mapped buttons to the back buttons however these don't seem to be working. Any ideas? Is this a regular issue or have I just screwed it lol. Thanks again videochelped loads

I just purchased this kit but I do not have a soldering kit. Can anyone recommend an inexpensive solderer that will get the job done?

Hey! Well all i can recommend is that you get a 30w max soldering iron the one i use its 25w from hikari brand If you buy a soldering iron that is too strong you might accidentally damage the components while soldering Check my soldering tutorial video

Do how much for a controller u fix with this? And also apply hair triggers I genuinely wanna pay for it. I’d rather use the original sx controller than the elite.

Well it will be cheaper if you can buy the kit from extremerate and take it to an electronics store near you and pay them for the instalation, just show my video as the tutorial and they won't fail

they're just remapable buttons, not macro or turbo, you can't get banned because of it
