Add Multiple Nested Lists to Webflow Collections

Out of the box, Webflow only allows for one nested list inside of a collection item. This limitation can really tie your hands if you're building collections that have any amount of complexity. To overcome this limitation, Finsweet created a CMS library that includes functionality that effectively recreates Nested Lists. It takes a little setting up, but the result is exactly what you which was built natively into Webflow.

Hi! first of all thank you for this well-explained tutorial. I just have a question for you. I built a team page for a website. The team is divided in different positions (example: direction, communication team, HR comitte, etc.). The idea is to click on a team member and have a pop up window with more information on the team member. The issue is I cant make it work since the collection reference is in the target div. I hope I am clear in my short explanation. If you have any suggestion, please let me know. thank you kindly!

Thank you for your tutorial! Would it be, please, possible to make one tutorial about how to create categories and at least 2 subcategories in the webflow-e-commerce? For example 4 main categories , and under each main category there are at least 2 subcategories..As you already told, at the moment there is no way to nest more than one CMS collection. And when there comes e-commerce functionality with displaying product depending on the chosen category or subcategories, challenges starts :). Will the same idea work with the nested links (f.example txt -link to products)? Best wishes!

This is close to what I need but has another layer of complexity. I have a short list of locations I want to display, and for each site, I need to assign 3-6 people to each place from my staff list... and do this BY DATE. So basically, my staff are assigned to a location each day, and that assignment changes. I want to display all the sites with the assigned team for that day. I can currently do this for one location only. I have a multi-collection list for one place and filter it by date. How can I do this for all my sites on a single page? The locations list is only about 5 at a time with
