Why are the p-values not symmetric within the correlation plot? For example the correlation between x4 and x2: is it 0.48 or 0.96?

Hello Katharina, It is a relevant question. When I checked the output, I had the same confusion. However, if you print corr.test(data) first, you will see that it is noted in the output that the entries above the diagonal are adjusted for multiple tests. Please run corr.test(data) without calling the $p object to confirm this. Best, Cansu

Dear@@cansustatisticsglobe , you are absolutely right, now I see this information as well. I am wondering which exact adjustment is applied here by default and if it's possible not to apply it, resulting in a symmetric plot? If you have any information about this it would be very helpful. Thank you very much and all the best, Katharina

Hello @@katharinapuhringer3643 , To find answers to these sort of questions, the best way is to check the documentation of the function. So here: www.rdocumentation.org/packages/psych/versions/2.3.6/topics/corr.test, you will find the answers. Best, Cansu

How can we calculate p-value for a matrix manually without using base R function?
