The Jacksonville Rays audios are great, and my recommendation for any of Emily Rath's books are just got with it. 😂 But her poly romances are fun, sometimes silly and just so very endearing. I've currently got the Cultish audiobook on Libby at the moment. It's going to be my next audio read. I also enjoyed A Marvellous Light, and read The Three-Body Problem waaaaaaaay back when I first started my channel. (I've completely forgotten what it was about!)

That is a big TBR. In the Dream House has an intriguing cover.

I wasn't excited when I was reading My Roommate Is a Vampire, even though I'm from Chicago and it's based there. And I love vampires! One star for me lol. I loved I'm Glad My Mom Died, 4 stars, on audio. It's probably because our moms sounded the sam, like being bipolar, and I grew up an only child, and never met my 3 half brothers. We're all from different moms haha.

I’m lowering my expectations for My Roommate is a Vampire and now I’m rethinking my decision to remove I’m Glad My Mom Died from my tbr. 😂

@@becklebooksI also really liked I’m Glad My Mom Died and also don’t know of the actress, but she narrates it and it’s very interesting! It’s so short so is satisfying - put another hold on it!

The Jacksonville Rays is definitely poly, the first book has one exception but most of the poly couples in these books are all together (it’s rather endearing). The series alternate between poly and monogamous couples. Hopefully you enjoy it, it really is WAY too big 😂 still had fun with it though, hopefully you do too

I'm sorry (no, I'm not). A romance audiobook does not need to be 25 hours long. That's absurd. I read 'A Marvellous Light' a few years ago and gave it 3 stars, and I have friends who love it. From what I remember, the time period doesn't really affect the romance itself. Like, no one is in any physical or emotional danger just because they're queer. The time period is more for added flavour. Also I recall liking the magic, although I can't remember how it worked. I know why you put 'An Unkindness of Magicians' on your Goodreads list - because I was reading it. 😆 I DNFed it at the time, but it was one of those ones I've always meant to go back and try again, because I didn't mind it, and it read sort of like a movie playing in my head, so it might have just been that I wasn't super motivated at the time, rather than an issue with the book itself.

It may be 25 hours long but it’s confirmed poly so I’ll be trying it. Will report back my enjoyment or severe regret. 😂 Ah that’s why! I forgot you’d tried it at all so that checks out.

Also, the Jennette McCurdy book is good. I didn’t watch her either and I did have access to Disney Channel. I was aged out of her show by the time it got popular, so it was interesting to hear the experience of a child actor with such a controlling parent.
