হুমায়ুন আহমেদ যেরকম হাসতে খেলতে একটা অসম্ভব দুর্দান্ত একটা নভেল হঠাৎ করেই লিখতে পারেন প্রদীপ্ত বাবুও তাই, উনি নিজেও বোঝেন না উনি কোন লেভেলের একজন সিনেমা নির্মাতা, আসলে এই লোকটা খাঁটি ট্যালেন্ট, যে ফুলের গন্ধ আছে আপনেই তার সুবাস ছড়ায়। ❤️

Film making needs deep understanding about society and human psychology. This needs education. I doubt these guys can go further. All current world cinema directors are highly educated.

@@siddharthasen439 your assumption is not proven scientifically. There are only some exceptions. When Bengali cinema was world standard all prominent directors including the commercial directors were highly educated. It is different for actors where there is a need of natural talents. But direction is a different ball game. At least you agreed it needs knowledge to make movie. Knowledge is like a movie script. It is impossible to make a good film from a bad script but good script does not always ensure good movie.

@@siddharthasen439 I do not think you have understood my first post. Let me explain. I work in Artificial Intelligence. And AI is still scientific. Now if I do not know anything about how software works I cannot bring AI to product. So I need the knowledge how software works. According to me creating an art form is much more challenging than any scientific effort. Simply because the art will have to be understood by an audience which is a black box to creator and almost infinite degrees of freedom. Be it writing be it painting or making an expensive and collaborative art like movie making. To make a movie you need know a lot. It is just not how a shot is taken but how the audience will interact to that shot as an individual shot or a shot in a complete context. And most importantly a director needs to communicate to many people who are making it possible as well as the audience. I do not think this possible without extensive study mixed with raw talent. The amount of philosophy and social intensity needs to be covered in movie making needs deep level of understanding. Let me give you a simple example. Let us take Jana Aranaye. In that cinema a lower middle class family is shown as Somnath's friend. Satyajit Ray sketched the family in three and half minutes. It is impossible for him to go in that environment and got it correct. He got it correct because of his education and study and of course with his talent and intellect. A raw talent helps in acting not in direction.
