I think this is the most important part of the whole scenario. Everyone wants revenge for Angel, and yes he deserves it, but Angel won't get better until he decides he wants to, and the fact that he checked into the "Happy Hotel" is so powerful. He wants to get better and he finally put his ego aside to seek help. I know a lot of people won't see the parallel to real life, but it tends to be that people who need help won't seek it until they absolutely have to or feel totally broken as Angel does.
