I’ve finally quit smoking for the millionth time. For the past two weeks I’ve been procrastinating on throwing it away because I didn’t want to miss out on what I spent my money on and just the thought of throwing away something that wasn’t finished is very unsettling. Last night (12/08/24) I’ve built up the courage and decided to throw my THC DISPO away for good. I lowkey regret it because i still had a little more THC left before it started to taste like metal. I plan on quitting this time for good because weed no longer serves a purpose in my life anymore. The comments are making me feel more better because I’m not alone. Wish me the best on this journey.

Exactly one year ago I've stopped smoking weed. Your videos helped me a lot in first months. To anyone who is reading this: bad time will pass, get perspective from other people on your problem (in mine there was a therapist who helped a lot), your brain needs time to learn new ways reacting to things so in my case i just started new sport that was climbing. Change your relationship with "weed friends" or quit them if they dont accept new version of you. It could be much much harder than you think it will be but once you get through it you can become almost invulnerable for weed. After like 4-5months i really forgot that I ever smoked weed (ive been smoking daily for like 6-7years). You are most important human in your life :) Thank you Dr. Frank

I've quit smoking time and time again. I always come back to it for one reason or another. I have a terrible coping strategy and weed seems to be my final vice. I dont drink or smoke cigarettes anymore. The last few months I've practiced yoga, taken vitamin and supplements and I still am smoking weed. Lately, I've been feeling immensely better yet I'm struggling to get started on things, or completing things. I had a moment the other day where I thought, I need to for real let this thing go. I'm still smoking weed, but I definitely am reaching the point where I'm growing very tired of it. I hope I'm getting closer to my final quitting of cannabis.

I’m on my 3rd day quitting for the millionth time but I think this time is it. But I’ve been watching a lot of your videos and other videos about quitting weed. And without fail, there’s multiple people defending weed in the comment every single time. It doesn’t make sense why they’re on the video in the first place if they’re not ready to quit. And then why do they have to take the time to comment? It seems like they’re trying to actively get people back on it. I see “everything is fine in moderation” but for some people it’s not! Let people quit if they don’t think it’s helping them, but I don’t get being the in quitting space if they don’t want to. Makes no sense. Some people refuse to believe there’s any negative consequences at all.

Weed at the time I “used” it opened up my friend circle at a time I was basically a loner. I hung out with more musically inclined people but at the same time got exposed to some dangerous individuals who were on other drugs. Did it make me a looser? Well these friends of mine were mainly high school dropouts and they generally only wanted to hang out if I had weed and Vice versa. So yeah it did make me a bit of a looser but because I gave up on my social life not just the weed itself.

I was 4 years without cigarettes. But during that time I was still smoking weed and drinking. Then one night I hit a black and mild then im back on nicotine as well. Sometime after that when my brother passed, I went two years without drinking or smoking anything. Took a trip to Jamaica like "Hey, it's vacation." My body reacts to the substances differently now. Even then, I would want to keep them up. Thats how I know I'm done. I want to accomplish my lifes mission and be around for my children and grandchildren one day. The sober life is much better in my experience and I dont want to experience this detoxing stage again for the umpteenth time. I wanted a black and mild so bad today but I ran across this video instead. You video's have helped me alot during this spontaneous recovery. I also realized that one of my 3 drugs of choice always leads me to the other 2. Sober life is the only life for me. Im excited for it. For real this time... Don't ever give up. You know, I've never liked the notion that weed makes you stupid and lazy, because I don't think that's true, at least for me. In fact, cannabis often enhances my motivation and creativity. The problem is that weed makes me cognitively slow and discombobulated. I never got high and thought, "I don't care about xyz, I just want to be stoned and do nothing." No! I had every intention to do things, I just wanted to smoke first (a la Towelie). The only STUPID part is that I deluded myself into thinking each attempt to accomplish things while high would somehow be different than the 100s of failed previous attempts. The reality is that, no, I'm not lazy or stupid, but definitely not as functional or efficient while stoned. Furthermore, I don't think that calling addicts "passive losers" is helpful. Sure, maybe for the "facts not feelings" types like Tucker this is motivating, but for most people I'd argue this encourages self loathing and makes them want to use more.

My take is that weed is okay *in moderation*. You just have to not let it distract even 1% from your goals and don’t use it as a coping mechanism for life’s troubles. I go on 4-5 hour hikes 2x a week and bring a joint or two each time. As long as you’re productive and don’t let it control you. Cigarettes and alcohol on the other hand? Never tried nicotine, never will. And the taste and morning after effects of alcohol is enough of a deterrent for me.

Recreational use is abuse and immature. But some people wouldn't even be alive or be able to cope with their ailments without it. Dude has been at war with weed for some years now and it's just weird af 😂. There's definitely a market of people who it's not for them that will be drawn to this though. I don't understand why maybe they felt like left out like they're not cool and they want to justify that weed isn't cool or I don't know.lol. Dr Frank you’re a chiropractor, have you ever seen someone with calcified herniated discs and congenital spinal stenosis? It is ridiculously painful. And I can say, Tucker sits there talking down on drug users with that nicotine pouch in his mouth, like what a hypocrite… he’s lucky his back is healthy and he’s not in pain… dude, if I put a nicotine pouch in my mouth rn I would literally curl up in a ball and cry because of the amount of pain. I have spent over 5,000 dollars on chiropractic, 2 years of physical therapy, surgery, nothing works. The only pain relief I’ve gotten is low dose opioids, been on the same dose for years now and it works, it’s the only thing that works… when I hear people, especially nicotine users telling me I’m a dysfunctional member of society because I take drugs that literally allow me to function somewhat normally… it makes me furious.

A chiropractor will likely cause you more harm than good, your problems are internal and very complex. Physical therapy will not help, you will not get better on your own. You may have to deal with the pain with opiates if you do not have the best doctors to do surgery as not the best doctors will likely make it much worse. Your in a bad situation, for now I would suggest continue to manage pain with opiates and consult the highest level doctors you can. If you can't afford it or don't have access to that, sucks for you, that's life, life sucks sometimes, people die of cancer and pain all the time. Good thing is, if you can ignore the pain, you can keep going, your issues are not life threating.

Big Tucker fan, I’m sorry but this seems pretty hypocritical, I think others judging others and calling them losers because they smoke a plant meanwhile you smoke arguably a worse plant & sell nicotine pouches is crazy talk. If you’re an American you should care about freedom of choice. How many people die from cigarettes every year?

What does it matter to the active addict whether or not it's a "solution" or a "distraction?" The drugs *are* a benefit to that addict. They're going to find a way to justify, rationalize, and bargain regardless of the word choice. You're getting caught up in the semantics way too much. Your burning stove to mask the broken leg metaphor is really bad, too --- no offense. A much better way to put this: People think that drug use is the problem. No, drugs are the solution. Your problem is your thinking, attitude, and behavior.

Live as if your life won't last forever. Value God as a Heavenly Father to you. He is your Creator and do good by Him. Worship in spirit, and in truth! End times are taking place now. ESV Bible is right, along with KJV Bible. Repent, or perish with out a chance at Heaven! Give other mercy, be brave, and wiser then last year.

Saudi Arabia allows Nicotine. If you travel to Dubai you will see many people smoking cigarates, vaping, and using oral nicotine. Nicotine does not effect society the way other drugs do, they can be seen as benificial in many ways, yes it is not optimal for your health long term, however neither is McDonalds, WhatABurger, Chic-Fil-A, EVERY FAST FOOD CHAIN is ARGUABLE WORSE than consuming nicotine. If you want to use nicotine, use nicotine while realizing the negatives. If you want to optimize your health, you may do so WITHOUT quitting nicotine, depending on how you consume nicotine, this can alter the negatives. Vaping is not the same as Zyns, yes both have negatives. There is a delta of risk we incur doing ANYTHING. You could walk outside and die. Big deal. For a society as a whole, nicotine is arguably the most benificial, and least harmful. This is why Saudi Arabia allows it.

I agree, but it’s a tough argument I think you have to then draw the line on the type of nicotine consumed. Cause ya know cigs kill many people and impact many families still

Man you want to make a difference on a real epidemic. Talk about kratom addiction. I've smoked cannabis for over 20 years and some days I go a full day without even realizing I didn't use or have a craving for it. I don't even have craving for it. I tried kratom and I can hardly taper myself off. This is a real dependency and withdrawals I'm talking about here and you can just buy it at the gas station. Your focus on cannabis is clown behavior to me bro. There's people out here truly suffering and none of them are suffering from cannabis bro. The people who are enabling such content are people who really didn't like weed but just got caught up with it out of peer pressure. The type of people who it induces anxiety in. It's not hard for people to quit weed bro. Just look at all the people in your comments. There's no physical dependency or withdrawals it's just a mental thing. It's the only thing I've ever tried that literally didn't cause dependency or withdrawals.
