Holy Grail of saltwater fish: "The 4 Foot Snook". Have the ability to snap off anyone.. Smart fish. If you are a salt lover and hang around all the inlets, creeks, marshes and bays you know the sound of these great great grand dads/moms popping. Sounds like a shotgun going off a million bait fish jumping for dear life trying to escape. Damn I love this program!

Mr. Blair, yeah it's me. Every time I start miss Dad, open his old tackle box, still has the smell of Seabreez and buck tales and Bommer bates. Then find your 10 cent Bridge Snook video. Thanks again Capt for your videos that keep us read to get back on the boat again. Take care of yourself, looking forward to Pompano and Triple Tail fishing over here on the West Coast. Love them when they come out of the smoker. You take care Brother, good fishing and stay safe out there Captain.

Looks like the Monster's that roamed Goodland's, back in the late 50s and 60s. You get over to the Tarpon Lodge PikeLand, check out the Snook over the Bar. Your a great Capt, and Fisherman. Thanks for the great videos and taking my back to the time, fishing with Dad, growing up fishing in the 100, 000 Islands. Monsters are still roaming the Everglades. Thanks Capt. Don

Capt Blair, there still looking at this video in Miami, Brother loves it. Jim said the same thing, took us young boy's, to good times with our Dad. Thank you for your Fishing trips, because you care about the fish and making sure that these fish are around for our grandchildren to enjoy. Oh. You're Triple Tail trp video was off the chain, never caught one. Next year we will set up from Flamingo, Brother got on them out front. Thanks Capt, we are really enjoying your story and understanding about the fish. Don

Sent this video to Miami, Brother still remembers those days, fishing Flamingo, Everglades City, Goodland's and Marco, back 50 years ago. Bitch getting older, but getting on the boat in two weeks. Thank you Capt. for helping with the loss of Dad, but keeping the fishing itch alive. Good Fishing, stay safe out there. Don

Landshark Fishing ... Hey Victor, I watch tour channel all the time, I mean every single video. Honestly now... How big do you think this snook really was. 44 inches, and maybe 28lbs?? Asking you bc I KNOW you and Ben are snook EXPERT'S.
@aaronbryant91575 жыл бұрын
@@allengallion930 I'll tell you right now this fish was probably right around the 42" mark but had a lot of girth so around 25+ lbs. I've fished this area and this bridge for years and it's pretty rare to find a snook that'll go 45"+ and 30lbs but they are around.
@allengallion9305 жыл бұрын
@@aaronbryant9157 I agree with that. I know there are some real monsters under that bridge and I've seen a real 47" (Gulf Coast) oddly enough and it looked so big it was Insane.
@aaronbryant91575 жыл бұрын
@@allengallion930 Yeah ones that big definitely do exist but are very hard to come by. I've no lie hooked and seen snook that are without a doubt in my mind 50" which make 40" fish I've caught that were sitting right next to them look small. Blows my mind some of the stuff I see on the water.

@@aaronbryant9157 glad to know I’m not the only one. I hooked a 50+ on a 13 inch mullet. The thing was massive and the gerth and length of that fish is engraved in my brain.

Captain, what model of stick did you use in snook fishing in Stuart, Florida? I bought the WMFBH80S1 model from 12 - 20 lbs. Fast power I am in doubt about the model I bought to catch sea bass up to 15 pounds, on the coast, using soft baits (shrimp) and baits. Do you think that this model of rod serves for this type of fishery? Thank you.

Addictive Fishing What weight rod, reel (I have a 4000 Shimano fj and a Penn Legion 10-17lb) and leader do you recommend for fishing the murky Stuart water? Although sometimes the water clears up on an upcoming tide and I have been getting alot of fray-offs lately with 30lb fluro. I just moved up to 40lb but I haven't been getting as many hits. Should I give Seaguar 30 a try? A response would be greatly appreciated. Fellow fisherman, Isaac

Hey Capt, We met at the boat show here in Jax. Really enjoyed the presentation! We are getting ready to head down to the "10 cent bridge" in Stuart. I have two Penn 8000 series battle 2's and two Penn 5000 series Battle 2's. Which would be best for those snook? I know there are grouper and Tarpon around that bridge, that's why I am taking the 8000's. Should I use them for the snook also or drop down to the 5000's?
@addictivefishing7 жыл бұрын
I prefer a fight. If you use the 8000 most fish will be easy. I caught those fish on a 7'6" rod with 3500 series reel. Granted a lost a couple to the pilings but that's the way I like it!
