Happy birthday, although. I don’t recommend giving her a pacifier if it’s not needed. It’s one more thing off your list of weaning her off of. Pacifiers are meant to pacify, I noticed Ben show her a few pacifiers when they were not needed (she was not crying or signaling she wanted one). I have 4 kids and the way I weaned them was by not mentioning pacifiers or giving it to them when they weren’t worried about having one. But do as you wish ❤ just much easier to wean her if its not needed.

We make our kids too dependent on objects to soothe instead of us. It’s ok to let a kid be rocked to sleep or comforted by an adult instead of expecting them to do it themselves. Kids won’t always need you and you should enjoy it while you can. Parents need to trust their instincts and not some book.or even their dr. Sometimes mom know best
