@@525sixhundredMinutes The bracelet was well made and comfortable. Yes, Alba watches look like they’re worth avoiding. The trouble with Seiko and their sub brands is that they’re just less watch for more money. You get the name, but always less watch.

I have the Captain Willard version on a white tropic style strap that I picked up during the last sale and absolutely love it. I was a bit worried about the logo as well, but its relatively small and unobtrusive. This dial is stunning and over all build quality for what you're paying I think is outstanding. I think I am going to pick this one up as well, just in the blue since I have the white. Thank for another great review - Cheers mate.

I have both of them, love the Willard (though I have it on a bracelet)! I was thinking exactly the same way as you when buying those, so I've ordered the blue "Omiwatari". However, I think the watch looks IRL worse, than on photos on Ali. It's not such a vivid, clean blue as in pictures, it actually looks more "dirty", like it's blue mixed with gray, so as a result the dial looks definitely darker, than in the pictures. In hindsight I wish I've picked rather the white one... Note, I've bought both of them together, don't remember from which store (I think it was "Addiesdive Factory 01" store) and they were both available to buy on the same page. Also, a weird thing - my "Omiwatari" came with improperly mounted bracelet: springbar on one side of the watch wasn't going through all end links. One of the inner links was sticking out for some reason... But that wasn't a big problem, I just had to remove the springbar and then attach bracelet properly. Other than that I have no problems with the watch. I love the optical distortion caused by the crystal; it's really nice, considering so many modern watches use all the same, boring flat crystals.

Sad to say, but for the prices of a majority of Ali watches (well under $200) I've come to accept the possibility of some flaws. I've had to remove and adjust bezels, bracelets, etc. I once had I crown completely fall out onto the floor when it was unscrewed. That one was returned as it was a problem with the movement itself. Just got mine and wow I'm blown away..their profit margins must be super thin because this watch is very high quality for the price..I paid $55. And FYI the second hand is actually Blued it's not painted its anodized. I only wish they had a display back to see the Nh35

I have the ice blue dial version, paid around £70 for it in the last sale and I love it. The sapphire crystal is one of the best I have seen on any watch. The dial is stunning. Agree that the clasp could be improved but for the price, you can forgive it.

Just got my AD2118 in today and its a STUNNER!!! Oi...NH35 and sapphire and the beautiful white textured dial. The polishing is just beautiful and the blued second hand in blued sets off the rest just beautifully . I love it!

I love this watch. I would have picked the ice blue. Because I'm from Canada and I know my ice and snow. It suits me better. Plus baby blue is the only true man's colour. We give our men born this colour. Women love this blue 😊

Hey Bro. Just purchased this watch, after ordering a Seestern GS homage from in an Ice blue. I originally wanted this watch in blue, but settled on the white dial. I will check back soon to let you know what I think. Addiesdive, as well as Seetern and Rmalti or Newer name; Rimalti might make a good homage. Really would prefer a Miyota 9015 or 9039. I am not a fan of the Chinese 5000 series.

nice review. I so wish the sapphire was flat. It is already rather thick, this bubble sapphire on the top does not help.. I Also wonder how it would look like with a simple white glossy dial. I suspect would look even better..

AD2118 vs sweeping quartz AD2030? dial comparison? Hard to tell from the renderings. The 2030 is thinner, no date, VH31 quartz. The 2118 has 20mm lugs instead of 19, has sapphire instead of mineral, date and auto. But which feels and looks better to you? Especially the dial. I wish they made one without logo and with a thinner font branding.

Will a 30.5mm dial or chapter ring fit in from beneath the crystal (for modding)? Because Aliexpress says - face diameter, and then they give three (3) values: 30.8mm | *32mm* | 32.5mm. As I understand it, the mounted wavy dial is 32mm, the max. size for a dial is 32.5mm and the min. size would be 30.8mm?? But I am not sure. But if it was true, we could still fit a 28.5mm dial in there by using a 30.5mm chapter ring on which the dial the rests rather then the milled metal lip which leaves an opening of 30.8mm, 0.3mm larger then the chapter ring.......

@@naimahmed526 I sized this for my 7.25" wrist and there's still another 6 removable links, which measure about 1.5" in total, plus there's some extra micro adjustments on the clasp as well. So, yes, the bracelet should fit a 6.2" wrist. If you'd prefer a smaller watch than this, Addiesdive also make a smaller watch with a similar dial called the AD2030.
