At that price point they have really hit it out of the park. 42mm and a date complication aren't my favorites but I am left looking at this piece with much respect. The blue AR coating is pronounced to a perfect degree but what I find refreshing is the bracelet construction. Even Rolex doesn't have female endlinks let alone the fully articulated links. Each link is pinned whereas an Oyster is a series of 3 links per pin. Although the case is long all these factors theoretically would make the bracelet fluid on the wrist. Another awesome review John. A lot of watch at that price point. A bit big and heavy for me I believe. It looked like I spotted a half link which could help a little with that 3 position clasp but agree 4-5 positions to be optimum.

San Martin recently started using it on the SN017-G. Two button push clasps are being used my many brands now; Oris, Omega, Christopher Ward. It seems to be a growing trend. Regards, #WR4K

I disagree about the dial, textured is preferable to gloss which defeat the purpose of using AR coating and make the whole thing just as reflective and unreadable as not having any AR coating to begin with. I also disagree with the recommendation of matching the hour markers to the bezel lume coating colour, I think the difference in tone keeps the watch interesting and gives the watch extra depth, it also matches the colour of the logo, logotype and spec text on the dial.

A great review, many thanks. I got the same watch from Pagani and this one looks indeed the same. I very much like the bracelet but on my Pagani a few links catches each other and it was very frustrating and I changed the bracelet and put the watch on a matching vintage brown leather strap and the watch looks amazing. But I'm in love with that bracelet. I womder, if I buy this watch, will I get the same issue? Looks like absolutely the same watch except for the dial and back cover.

Hi mate , the overall look Is very nice , I Just don't understand why female end links..I prefer male end links much more but of course It Is Just a matter of personal taste, so many customers would buy It the same. Regards

Hi, you state that the bezel aligns OK. This is true for the insert only, the actual scalopped bezel is misaligned, the "protruding scaloppes' should be on 12, 3, 6 and 9 position when aligned.

I initially thought so too. I've purchase this and the pagani version which has a symmetrical (aligned) scalloped bezel. I now think that the fully aligned scalloped makes the watch look cheap for some odd reason. The scalloping on my copy of this watch seems to be perfectly offset, that is, the junction where the actual scalloping ends (or begins) is perfectly aligned to the center of the lume pip which makes it look right.

Hi. I received my AD2106 today with no misalignment .The bezel insert aligns perfectly and the scalloped bezel does too. The protruding scallops align perfectly on the 12, 3,, 6 and 9.

I had them both! They are different. 1. This is the most glaring and the reason I sent the Pagani back: the with of the case is thicker by about 2mm. It seems small, but on a Milanese strap it’s noticiable. 2. The dial on the Addiesdive has a grainy texture to it that I prefer to the 007. 3. The bezel is MUCH more responsive with a zero play. The Pagani had some play on both the ones I had (more on that in a bit).4. QC on the Pagani is iffy! My first stopped working after a week. I sent it back and my second had movement issues as it ticked strangely so I sent it back for my money back, as I had gotten the Addiesdive and I liked the dimensions a lot better. I know a lot of people love the Pagani and have had no issues with it. I can only speak to my experience.

Danger!!!!!!!!!!!!!, this watch have a problem with the bezel. If the bezel is retired for any porpouse is impossible put it back, the bad design of the bezel and insert made impossible for retainer spring put back in place, the only way to put back is retire the insert and from above using a press tool or a ring of certain dimensions and put back the bezel with the retainer spring, after that stick with and adhesive the insert again. This bad design was made for save money.

Is it me or is it a Pagani 1667 with AR coating and a not-as-good bracelet? The water rating is higher but… the lumed bezel is biggest difference, and only when dark.

Thank you for watching. The lume and bezel action are better, however the bracelet is lower quality. Therefore they both have positives and negatives at a similar price point. Overall I think the SD2106 is a better quality watch. Regards, #WR4K

@@watchreviews4k they’re just weirdly identical though. The differences from the watch that inspired the overall look are the same. (Lack of helium valve, handset, layout being similar to previous seamaster models rather than current) The logo is the only difference, the data text on the lower half is identical too.

@@watchreviews4k I've had both and kept the Addiesdive. Case quality, bezel and lume and AR coating are number 1 for me, always. The bracelet is fine for my needs and bracelets can always be changed. I personally use a nice vulcanised rubber band with mine.

@@watchreviews4k the watchheads are visually identical to each other (except in the dark) aside from the AR coating, including the handset - which is not a usual Seamaster handset, and therefore not caused by the homage nature. The font, even in size and kerning, looks to be identical on the lower half of the dial. Tbh, the Pagani logo and text is a better more modern design than the Addiesdive lol. I understand what homages are, shockingly, but it is the non-homage elements that are identical.
