Adding a Bedside Storage Cubby to the Ford Maverick

Hey All! Thanks for stopping by. In this video we add a extra bedside cubby to the Ford Maverick for extra storage. This would be the same process for those of you who have an XL model and want to add a cubby to the passenger side (to mirror what the XLT and above come stock with). For this Maverick XLT Tremor we are installing it on the driver's side to match the cubby on the passenger side that came stock. These are very convenient storage areas for essentials you will need for your truck bed.

I have an XL hybrid and bought 2 cubbies. Yes, you have to remove the tie down to install them. My XL doesn't have anything blocking or otherwise in the way of these storage bins. Thanks for the video. Go Maverick!

I have the optional light and outlet on the passenger side. I was thinking of adding the cubby but keep the outlet and add USB ports inside the cubby so I can cover them when not in use. I would replace the light with those light strips.

Is there anyway you can buy locks for these? They’d be great if they were lockable because I put some electronics maybe an inverter some lights camping lights and stuff but I don’t want it all stolen.
