I think the problem was the missing Paint.style. Without it it would fill maybe? I don't know really. But once I tried to paint on canvas and had a similar problem... I think it was solved like that. Paint.style = PaintingStyle.stroke Ref: api.flutter.dev/flutter/dart-ui/PaintingStyle-class.html
