I bought that same amp to put on two SKAR 10s and when I wired it parallel, it easily went into protect even at very low gains. I had to rewire in series and now it’s pounding with no issues.

heads up. Theres a huge difference in the quality of a $30 4 gauge wiring kit vs a $60-75 wiring kit. The $30 kit will be NOT COPPER(copper clad aluminum) which cuts your power transfer by 1/3 at best if its not undersized. Undersized and fake copper is a recipe for fire. Your kit at least appears to be full size 4awg but its not copper wire. If you must use CCA(copper clad aluminum) i suggest only buying oversized from knuconceptz or Sky high car audio, both on ebay. 2) that amp you got is AWESOME! just installed one in my friends car today, they are hugely underrated. They actually do closer to 900 WATTS RMS! certified @2ohms! Jbl/infinity amps always seem to be wayyy overbuilt and wayy underrated

Thanks for the input. I haven't had any issues with this particular brand of wiring kits in multiple builds, and the Amazon reviews are fairly positive, but I know what you mean. On previous builds when I've pushed the sound a lot farther, I've used much higher quality wiring and assembled the kits myself. In this case, I oversized the wiring and made sure to get a solid connection on every side, so I'll keep an eye on it but this should be sufficient. I love the amp! I can't believe how great of amp it is for the price and size.
