Adding a Second Super to a Beehive #Beekeeping Basics - The Norfolk Honey Co.
Adding a second super to your beehive is one of those tasks that if performed correctly can maximise the return of honey from a nectar flow. If done incorrectly or at the wrong time it can cause your honeybees to struggle against the cooling Spring temperatures or if too late may find your honeybees already in swarming mood. In this video I show you how I add a second super to my beehives and how to decide if your colony needs a second super at all.
We can only produce our regular video with the help and support of many people. You too can help us continue to provide quality beekeeping videos by becoming a Patron.
