With what type of wires would you be able to extend the connection to the siren? Will a wire splice between the siren and a basic 2 conduct wire to the panel satisfy the wire extension or is there a way to directly wire this siren straight to the panel? Thank you.

great video, thank you. I've inherited a house with an old Radionics security system D2112 circa 1996 and in the garage a ceiling mounted Amseco SSX-51 siren. When I power down 100% to remove the system will the siren in the garage activate? Do I need to remove the siren before powering down? Appreciate your expertise.

Does the siren make a tone when you are using the chime function on the v21ip? We use the chime to be notified of guests entering or exiting the business but cannot always hear the tone due to the panel being in back of the store. If not what other options might we have to increase the volume of the chime tone. Thanks
