I really appreciate this video Melissa. Breaking down your thought process was very helpful to me in understanding how to apply the colour selection to get the result I will like. I love all aspects of knitting but I have to say that I struggle the most with the colour selection, especially in the multi colour project. I am better at modifying the design for my silhouette and preferences, but I struggle to do the same with colours. Thank you a bunch

So interesting. Choosing colour combos and how they go together for each part of a pattern is something I really struggle with. I think I am often too impatient to spend the time playing around and doing some serious swatching and end up not as happy with my choices.

I probably should have done a bit more swatching with this one (as I wasn't positive it would all work out ;) . . . but since it was a top-down sweater, I could at least check out the colorwork first and make sure I was happy with it before finishing the entire body!
