thanks for sharing it the shortcut for a node is ctrl+T, u can active it from preference > add-ons > search for node and activate it

I couldn't get mine to quite work using your node setup. Going by sketchy things I learned elsewhere, these nodes yielded the results you demonstrated (perhaps a peculiarity with 2.93?): Texture Coordinate to Mapping to Environment Texture to World Output. I do not quite understand why but continue to research it.

Hi, I just saw your video and I like how clear and straight forward you explain it! Unfortunately, it's not working for me! I followed your instructions step by step and the HDRI background image just does not appear for me, and unfortunately there are no trouble shooting videos on this topic! I can see the image on a camera when I render the scene, but can't get it to show in my world, in render view! Sucks! Oh BTW, when I do this in a new Blender scene from scratch it works, but I can't for the life of me get it to work on a scene a guy modeled for me!

Hi. Is there a way to use the light from an HDRI, but set up a separate HDRI for the background only? I'm coming over from Cinema4D/Redshift and was able to do this using two dome lights. Is there an equivalent in Blender? I can't seem to find an answer anywhere. Thanks! Enjoying your tutorials.

Hello! I have a question! When I go to Properties Editor panel, I select the World tab. then I add Background from the Surface drop-down menu. However, in the Color section, when I click the button on the right with a circle in the center I do not find the drop down menu in order to select 'Environment texture". Does anyone else have the same problem or knows why this is happening? Thank you!!

Keep in mind the higher the resolution of the HDRI the longer it'll take to load and update the render preview.

@@TheCGEssentials i got the problem. i was rendering in evee which is not clear in cycles even 2k is clear. Can u help why this is happening because i work in evee much more than cycles

@@user-tu7rh2hr1n Maybe because eevee isn't really as good as cycles yet? I know eevee has some problems with rendering some materials, and it won't look as good as rendering with cycles. Maybe that's the problem with hdri too. Hope this helps, I'm pretty new to Blender 😀

I have a similar problem but it's not in the image (most likely). If I leave the Shader workspace, the HDRI looks fine. it's just that it doesn't seem to be sharp and clear in the Shader workspace regardless of whether it is Cycles or Evee. If I can't find some simple reason for it I think I'll submit a bug report.
