Beautiful touch! I wouldn't have paid much attention to the black outlets on my boat, except for functionality, but now....one more future project to make the boat even nicer. We have been out a few times already this season, loving "your boat," "our boat," "same model boat!" Haha! I've been trying to think of a name for our boat, it's not an easy task...Squirt Gun - L'il Squirt - Open Butt. Okay, the last one sounds weird, Im a retired Los Angeles City Fireman and probably only firefighters would understand this terminology. A fire hose nozzle is attached to a "shut off butt," when you want to flow the maximum amount of water through the nozzle, you open the shut off butt all the way, hence "Open Butt." I wouldn't use the name for obvious reasons! LOL! A similar saying in the motocross world is "Hold 'Er Wide!" Indicating a wide open throttle. I love the videos Jay, if you ever sell your boat, I'll do the same, let me know what you're going to buy next, I will try to keep up.

I definitely vote for "open butt"! Lol I'm planning to keep this boat for quite some time. In an open bow, I haven't found anything I like better yet. I would someday like to get a Princess X95 and change the name of the channel to "My Simple Yacht Life". And just live the yacht life. But at the moment, I'm $3mil short on the down-payment, so the Yamaha it is! Lol

Nice work, Jay... always appreciate your videos. You shared in a previous one that you had someone design something for your steering wheel so you could tell when your engines were straight. Can you share a picture of that now that you're out of winter storage? Thanks!

I had my graphics guy paint one of the forks in the Yamaha logo on the steering wheel red. I believe you can see it towards the end of this video. I'm not sure how to share an actual picture in the comments here. kzbin.info/www/bejne/joKngHp8a5Z5jpo

Looks great. Awesome, you have a proud helper. I looked up those parts and cannot locate the pissers. Can you provide the part numbers? I have a red AR240 and thanks to you now have another mod to make.

The SKU is HP56-3010 for the pissers I purchased.

Hey Jay - Thanks for all the great videos. I just got my 195S yesterday and am installing Thrust Vectors and Phender Pros this weekend. Thanks for the great videos on these. Quick question - while having it out for the first time yesterday, Ive noticed a white smoke type of stuff coming out from under the back of the boat. Seems like both sides of the jet pump. ??? Is this normal?
@SmoknJaysGarage2 жыл бұрын
When you're just idling, you sometimes see a little exhaust which comes out on the side of the jet pump. If you're seeing more than just a little it might be something you want to check. White smoke is often due to oil. Check you oil, if it's overful that will cause white smoke. Check it on the water, whike the engine is warm. Give it about 5mins after you shut it off, and then check it.

@@SmoknJaysGarage thank you. I’ll check oil today. I only see it when doing like 10 mph. Faster I don’t see, but that might be just because I’m going fast?? Thanks again
@SmoknJaysGarage2 жыл бұрын
@@srakfleming5888 at higher speeds it might just float away so you can't see it. Hopefully it's nothing. Or at the worst, just overfilled oil. If you check it cold, it will typically read low on the dipstick.
