You have a great looking reef tank, looks very natural and grown in. Good job.

I had dynos in my tank and was able to cure it. Dynos usually happen from the water being to "clean" phosphates and nitrates are too low. The key to curing it is to make the water extremely dirty by overfeeding. And then doing a 24 hour blackout. Hair algae will start to grow after which is a good sign. I used an algae scrubber to take care of the hair algae but make sure not to crash my nutrients again.

nice. honestly had cyano last month in this new tank i'm setting up didn't try syphoning it out. just poured in some seachem stability bacteria. now can't see any trace of cyano in the tank or sump & i have a light 24hours on in the sump with macro algae

if you have dinos, dont do any more water changes. thats only going to make it worse. add some copepods and MB7.

What are your NO3, PO4? DKH?

Dinos means the tank is to clean not enough nutrients more likely due to the soft corals sucking nutrients & to low feeding . I would stop water changes maybe add more fish like a school PJ cardinals or 2-3 fishes & add two bottles of copepods in the night. All Dino’s will be gone fast

Yea I just recently added some copepods (vid soon lol) and also told them to increase feeding. Will look into the adding fish, thanks!
