Jennifer, thanks so much for your tips! I have to admit though, to purchase craft fun and then you Stick It sheets is really expensive for me as I live in Canada so with the added expense of the exchange rate, and then the added expense of shipping, I think I will use these products for very special cards, or for when I sending cards to far away destinations, like to my son and family who live in Ireland. I am a newbie to the card making world and as well, I am on a disability pension and I do find that although I have such a passion for this craft, it is an expensive one. Over the past year I have spent over $6,000 (ouch!) on supplies. But oh, what fun I am having. Jennifer, I have learned so much from you and this Canadian has a huge respect for you and what you contribute to this wonderful world of card making.

I'm glad you shared the heat gun trick. I make some really beautiful flowers by die cutting flower shapes out of the craft foam and using my iron to add heat to them and it makes them dimensional. With all the beautiful flower dies out there you can really take them to another level by using craft foam and adding heat to them. I use them for very special cards and also to make flower crown. The possibilities are endless.

I love your videos! You have a wonderful teaching style that makes each video easy and pleasurable to watch.. You cover techniques in a easily understandable method that translates to stampers of all levels from beginner to expert. You take into account that we all would like every stamp, ink, die and other tools available, but most of us craft on a budget. So, you show us so many of these things with ideas and hints that make our decisions easier. You show us ways to use our supplies creatively in order to get the most value out of them. Probably most important, you inspire us with your clever, creative ideas. I feel like I'm sitting down to stamp with a girlfriend that loves stamping as much as I do. For all of these things, thank you!

So I place the card fronts towards the envelope backs, then slide a thick piece of card stock or chipboard large enough to fit the full card front. The Post Office machines roll the fronts of the envelopes as it reads the zip codes, the backs don't get as much damage. I would like to do my own experiment now lol! Thanks Jenn ♥ Most I mark "Hand Stamp Please" "Not Machinable" and pay the extra to make sure nothing gets bent or crushed.

Thank you for showing us this demonstration, it was very helpful. I have been getting all my cards "hand" cancelled at the post office. For detailed cards I also cover the card with a layer of cardboard (cut from a cereal box) to help it keep from being crushed/bent. My husband says that hand canceling ensures that it doesn't go through the sorting machine, and that the right postage has been applied so that the recipient doesn't get any "postage" due bills on their end. (Which has happened with some of my bigger cards or heavier cards). :)

Nothing silly about the video. I was wondering why people were putting it in their cards but I thought it was only in shakers and that was to stop the sequins sticking to it. Never thought of the ensuring it's safe when being posted bit. Thank you for making me aware of it. I've never received one in the post myself and have probably been responsible for making a few that ended up being quite tatty at receipt which shames me. Thank you again for making me aware of this and enabling me to ensure my creations land on the doormat as good as they leave my loving care (because we all make with love after all).

I tried this when I saw an earlier video of yours. Been brilliant. I have used the adhesive fun foam, but it doesn't cut as well. I might switch to standard fun foam - cheaper too. Thanks, Jennifer. That was very informative. I also use lots of foam strip on my cards. I am 100% going to start using foam sheets. Again, thanks! :)
