I know this is an older video, but I just started watching your videos. Cathy Z. always talks about you and what a great card maker you are. I really enjoyed this video. Somewhat of a new card maker maybe a yr. and a half, since the pandemic started. I learned so much in just this one video. I'm going to try that double adhesive tip and make some stickers.

Jennifer McGuire Ink -I am new to card making after buying an Anna Griffin Christmas card kit last year...I was hooked! My husband and I are both on disability so money is a big factor in my choice of products to invest in, because it IS an investment. That being said I want to thank you for your time and the effort you put into your videos. I have been binge-watching your videos this morning and am a new subscriber to your channel. You are easy to follow and no music blaring over your explanations is something I appreciate. The idea of buying a large quality marker set and coloring the components of an embellishment is a winner!! Not having to buy multiple sheets of cardstock is a cost savings I can get behind and adds another layer of “handmade” to what is essentially a gift for the person you are making the card for. Thank you again for helping those of us on a budget learn ways to save money where we can!

Thank you, Jennifer, for showing us multiple ways to use the same products, so that if we can make the investment, it's not a one pony show! I live on disability and have severe health problems which limit many activities for me, but I love card making. For the last few years, I included in my budget $20.00 a month to get one new craft item or several smaller items. I can no longer do that because of increasing medical expenditures and other market increases. So, I have what I have and make do with it. Thank you for continuing to inspire even though I cannot purchase all these new and wonderful products. Your videos are still meaningful and inspirational to me.

Hi Jennifer, As usual YOU and your wonderful suggestions, etc., and card examples are WONDERFUL! I'm 72, and not too "swift" now a days, as they say, lol. You explain things so very well, that even a dummy like me can understand it. TYVM! Your easy, explicit instructions convince even an old timer like me, to try something new. Living just on SS, prohibits me from purchasing gifts, so I craft a card instead. I laugh at my idea of years ago that I would "save" so much $ making my own cards, lol! Yet, this hobby has kept me partially sane, and helps with my ongoing problem of depression and loneliness, PLUS those I send cards to seem to enjoy them! (Prozac doesn't cure everything, but crafting can sure takes ones mind off their worries, lol. A couple of questions please... 1. Couldn't a person on a limited budget, like me who can't afford the lovely ALTENEW flower die (collage-type set) use individual flower and leaf dies and arrange them in a pattern design for an a2 card front and achieve a similar card like the last card you showcased? Also, where you have such an accumulation of crafting items, could you please list the different brands of adhesive papers, indicating which brands are thin, and which ones are thicker? I believe that would be a big help. Also, I see an abundance of color guides, color combinations, color charts, etc. on Copic markers, but can't find anything on the "Noir" alcohol pens. I was able to purchase a used set of these and am disappointed that everything is geared to Copic info. IF SOMEHOW you POSTED a comparison color chart with both Copic colors with the Noir colors, it would help so many of us. I could refer to the "matching" colors so that I would know which Noir pen to use in lieu of the absence of Copic pens. #3. Can you tell us how you remember which word stamps/phrases you have, and what company makes it. Do you catalogue your word stamps/die sayings? Or do you, like me, have to look in every folder for them? I have all my UM (removed from wood) stamps sorted according to type, mounted on acryllic/acetate sheets in 3 ring binders. (The UM word stamps are grouped together, e.g. get Well, THANKYOU, etc. But, the problem is my acryllic sets, E.g. Lawn Fawn, etc., are stored intact in their original pkgs. what is your suggestion regarding the sayings, verses, etc. so that it's not such a hassle to remember exactly what you have? Sorry to be so long winded, and thank you again for being a wonderful , smiling, generous, gifted person who is willing to share their creative ideas, Sincerely, Diane @ stampsinoregon1@gmail.com

Diane C. Something I learned on utube is to stamp all my stamp sets on a piece of card stock and label the set. I took it a little further and am in the process of stamping all of my sentiments on a piece of card stock and label which set they are in. Put these in a sheet protector and put in a 3 ring binder. I also assigned a little code that helps me find them. For example I have some my monthly hero art kits and their designation is LMH1 this tells me that it is a large monthly hero arts kit the first one I bought. I have all the sizes split up,in alpha order and then by #. It takes a while to get it done but it is worth it. Sorry for such a long answer.

Diane, I have Spectrum Noir alcohol pens too. If you go onto the Spectrum Noir site they have a colour chart that you can print off and I find this very useful as the pens are all in colour families which blend together. Hope this is helpful. :O)

Lorraine Turner Hi Lorraine, thank you for your guidance. Have you ever seen a color chart which compares the colors of the Spectrum pens to the colors of the Copic blenders? Also, do you use a blender pen with the Noirs? If so, what do you recommend? Thanks again. DIane

Jennifer thank you for all the time and effort you put in to get these video tutorials online for us crafters. Altenew has released a haul of new dies/stamps etc. as has a lot more companies at this time of time. Us International crafters do not find it easy to acquire stock from US companies as the shipping cost are outrageous! But even though we cannot get the items Jennifer is demonstrating it is the techniques that is important and what we can do with the stash we have already. Jennifer please keep doing what you do, as a crafter I find this so necessary in my development. Thank you again. :O)

Oh my! One of my favorites from you! Thanks for all of the work! I had one short suggestion. On the third from the last I think you I'd the flower that looked like porcelain. I was thinking that it may also work to cover each section of the flowers with the porcelain layers first and then make the flower and it may look more separate , you could do so and then maybe the top layer could be the same coating to help hold it together. The only problem with that is that I do not know what glue would hold them together. Just a thought for a different idea. Tfs!
