thank you for the excellent information and especially for the link to that camber gauge which is going to be a terrific help. I had a digital angle measure but had to put up a level on the wheels to get a measurement and that was never very accurate but this one that you recommended is perfect.

Cliff, how much noise/pops and groans ect are you getting from the Camber plates?

I just got my Quickchange Camber Plates for my 987 Spyder in the mail. The mounting instruction states: ”Do not install the top washer.” ”This is valid both for stock or lowering springs and coil overs.” So there should be no need to modify the top washer like you do in your video.

That's only possible if you have the standard struts. On the PASM struts, the washer is the only way to keep the strut shaft from rotating when you're trying to tighten the top nut. On a side note, the instructions posted on ER's web site don't mention the washer at all.

@@CliffsGarage thank you Cliff. My car is a 987 Spyder without PASM so I won’t use the topwasher then. I’m hoping to get about 2.5 degrees negative camber but that’s perhaps a bit optimistic. Why is there a topwasher mounted on a stock strut? Safety in case of failure?
