No flattery, that 180 SA tank is one of the best tanks on KZbin I've seen. The decor and fish pair really well together. Great job, you have a good eye!

Thanks! It’s starting to come along nicely. Forgot to say in the video that a larger tank is in the works for that aquarium. The catfish were Synodontis Petricola, about 4-5 years old now

hey man, your vids inspired me in setting up my new 180g tank :) do you think its fine to keep a green texas with an oscar? also you need to check out bichirs, they do great w cichlids
@CichlidBros3 жыл бұрын
Awesome! The green texas might be a bit aggressive and one to keep an eye out for, but in some cases I think it'll work fine. I've been looking at bichirs for awhile actually!

You should move plecos by hand they can get stuck in nets really easily and it's hard to get them out and usually damages them if it goes bad. The first day I started working at a fish shop I learned that the hard way

Good video and I love your tanks. Do you have any experience with Honduran red points? I got my first breeding colony a few months back and have been growing them out from less than an inch. They are now about 2 in long coloring up nicely. I know a lot of people say it's just another form of Convict but I don't see it. They aren't nearly as aggressive as all the convicts I've had in the past. The males are starting to grow a little hump on their forehead. Any info appreciated

Awesome content. Few questions: 1. What's the substrate in the 75 gallon tank? 2. What mix of cichlids would you recommend for a 65 gallon? I like the earth eaters with an electric blue
@CichlidBros3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! The substrate in the 75g is carib sea african cichlid mix. For a 65, I think a few geo tapajos and an EBA would be great.
