About the Latin thing. Watching an Australian gardening show which explained that they used Latin because common names often are applied to more than one plant eg what is known as a flame tree in the eastern states of Australia is different from the flame trees in the west. So the Latin avoids confusion.

Great to see u back in the shop. We went there today for the first time and got some of your red root floaters, my 9 year old daughter was so excited when they confirmed they were from you, can't wait to show her this video. Currently got them in bowls on a windowsill in our holiday lodge 😂. Such a great shop and really lovely staff. Thanks MD for your ongoing inspiration 🙏

By any chance did you see the sharks/flying foxes in the 8ft African tank? If so do you know if they were Crossocheilus reticulatus or something else? Either from if you remember the label or if you copy and paste the name into Google to see could you confirm visually it was them/you believe it was them. That was so much fun seeing you tour the shop with Martin again. I look forward to you building a tank for those African puffers you put on hold. One thing in my years of watching this channel has shown me, I wish to holy heck I had this fish shop near enough to me to buy my fish and supplies from. Ugh! Look into the studies of saltwater dipping freshwater fish and vice versa for saltwater fish basically by saltwater dipping the fresh water fish in saltwater it kills off any bacteria or parasites that need freshwater to survive and it's the same with saltwater fish and corals don't try without looking into it but it really does work if done correctly and cuts quarantine times in half making it easier to get your fish ready for your aquarium without worrying about more quarantine tanks and things like that
