had some issues with my footage recording this week so a couple bits have some gross screen tearing. think I sorted for the most part but it is still present on some clips - sorry about that. ALSO - I added a few more bits to my workshop, various links in the description :) cheers all!

The original run off pool that you moved and positioned in a different area of the park is really cool as it is. Maybe the park originally had a couple of slides that were removed and left behind the run off pool, so the park decided to convert it into a kiddie pool or spa pool. You could leave the slide footers in place to show a history to the park. Really cool!

Oh dude, the pump house is just class! I’ve been around pumps and it looks really real, the blue and everything. Looks fantastic. BTW - With the slide platform i found out when you first place it, place it on the ground,and then cancel out and use the advanced move to lift it and… no more support. Not sure if that will work 4 anyone else. Anyway loving this series!
@mineraljunctionАй бұрын
thanks, mate! I think I show that with the platform supports in the video around 1:45 unless you mean something else? anyway, thank you my friend 🙏

I too like to know how things work so I appreciate that you included some info from your research in the video. Back stage areas for pools are something I know basically nothing about so that was cool to see. I also like that you are keeping this project so small, let’s you try some stuff out and gives you that boost from finishing a project.

So glad you didn't get rid of that run-off pool, it's so pretty! You should definitely repurpose it off for something else, or even just leave it as is and have it be a hot tub or something. Also, love the dedication to watching videos about pool filtration to get your pool filtration system as realistic as possible.
@mineraljunctionАй бұрын
thank you! yeah, someone else suggested leaving it as is as a kind of left over from an old-now-defunct slide which is a really fun idea, think i might do something like that.

I actually think the empty slide supports "runoff pool" could work just by themselves as a bit of storytelling. Like there was a/ another slide at this pool but it was demolished and now the remaining slide is on its own or it could have been repurposed into a more relaxed swimming pool for adults or something.
@mineraljunctionАй бұрын
i’ve had a couple of people suggest this now and i love it! definitely going to do that

Chiming in to say I love your work. Your parks are beautiful. I’m pretty new to the channel, so just curious.. have you ever considered doing speed build type videos? I would like to see more of your process and speed build videos are my favorite format. Just a thought though, of course.
@mineraljunctionАй бұрын
thank you! i have done some speed builds before but i struggle a bit with recording them because i build very slowly and in a fairly scattered way. good to know there’s interest in them, i might try and do some for my next series :)

Hi Mineral, im finally catching up on your series, it’s amazing as I expected!! Love how you’re spotlighting your methods and pieces that you use for various parts of the build. This is extremely helpful, especially for everyone still learning the pieces in the game! The pump house part of the video was quite entertaining for me since I design water parks in my every day job as an engineer :). If you ever want any assistance or education, I can teach you anything you’d like to know, or send you reference pictures of anything pump room related! I think what you’ve done here really sells it. Of course there’s a thousand things that are wrong about it, but Im probably one of the only people in the planet coaster universe that would be able to tell 😂. But that regenerative media filter especially looks fantastic, amazing!

As someone who's local waterpark (for now) is a budget park I can tell you that boomerang slide is not realistic. A small local park wouldn't have one. Take this with a grain of salt though my local park is super low budget they don't even name their slides, they have four main pool ones and a bunch of kiddie slides for the kiddie pool... They don't bother cleaning the bathrooms/changing rooms either.
