fun fact, toyota typically sells repair tabs for their headlights. theres some holes that the leave in the plastic for screws to hold new tabs on.. not sure on the 2021s, but i do know my corolla i put repair tabs on and everything was perfect (until it was totalled..)

Hey Chloe did you get the dealership to update the ECU on your Taco so that it has a smoother gear shifting and doesn’t struggle with finding the right gears like all Tacomas suffer from. I just did my 2017 TRDPro today along with and oil change.

You'll need to get an aftermarket wiring harness. I'm told the best place to find one is on E-Bay, but I've never done it myself

Looking good. Any chance your bent reservoir bracket and lower air box is the same as previous models and could be found in junk yard? I have the 2020 pro and best place to fit the 30 inch bar without blocking too much light is in lower grill area between fog lights.

After I filmed this, the owner was able to bend the reservoir bracket back into place. And thanks for the advice about the light bar! That may require a different bracket than the SDHQ one though.

They will work on an SR5, you will have to buy a harness to make with the single input of the LED headlights.

Yeah, they were vertically adjusted since the TRD Pros sit at a leveled height. And awesome!!

If you just want the LED lights, it’s probably cheaper just to install them yourself. You can contact your dealership to see how much you can get them for and compare it to the cost of the package. Hope this helps!

Just very curious are the bulb for the trd pro and the offroad have a internal bulb? I have a 2020 tacoma which only see the highbeam bulb and not the low

For the LED headlights? They do not have anything replaceable, so there are no bulbs. These LED headlights have a total of 5 low beam LED drivers per side and 2 high beam LED drivers per side.

If you have the halogen projector headlights, the bulb for the high beam is easily visible for the front. The low beam is behind the projector lens

The plan is to make it as OEM as possible (use OEM parts), and then mod it from there! Although as you've seen, we've had to make some workarounds due to the nature of its previous life, so in a sense it won't be identical to a TRD Pro you'd see on the road.

LED driver? I'd be surprised there weren't any drivers built into the headlight assembly, considering that these are the OEM ones that plug into the factory wiring. Although, I'd have to take a closer look.

They are nice, but, you can go onto headlight revolution and buy the LED bulbs and save half a day installing them and still getting bright lights for night. I just sold my taco but I took out my after market LED bulbs from head revolution, the sv.4 high/low beam for a 2019 Tacoma. If anyone’s interested let me know. Only had them 3-4 months

LED bulbs in housings not designed for them decrease visibility for both you and especially oncoming drivers.

These LED headlights have 5 LED drivers per side just for the low beam. 2 LED drivers for the high beam. These will out shine any LED drop in bulb, and do it without blinding incoming drivers.

I think you made a mistake cheaping out on the hood. It would be the first red flag for the new buyer. Your getting dangerously close to exceeding any profits. (I own the same truck).
