Decibels are not linear 10 times louder is 10dB 100 times louder is 20dB 1000 times louder is 30dB So the numbers may be close to each other but still could be much quieter

Great job! If I may add my 2 cents... the ROOF. Remove the headliner and insulate that also, then reattach headliner. Your truck is new enough, but if you want to really go for it, replace the door seals/gaskets. Oh, and the rear seats backing, under the rear window. Other than that, there's nothing you can do about the sound leaking thru the glass.

There’s enough anti seize on that one plug to do all six, that little packet of anti seize sold at the counter in AutoZone is enough to do about 20 vehicles. Don’t get any below the last 2 threads.

I have a 23 TRD Off Road. I replaced the tail light bulbs with LEDs but I made sure to buy ones that don't cause hyperflash, no need to spend extra for the resistors.

Non-removable seats in vehicles. Hybrid battery packs that don't improve fuel economy much. And 3rd row cupholders for a non-existent 3rd row. All to eat into the already limited space of a body-on-frame vehicle. Questionable decisions (the poster child being the latest Sequoia and its knees-to-chest 3rd row). By contrast, I've literally packed my entire house into my 1998 Sienna--all seats removed, completely flat floor. Outstanding in-car sleeping/camping experience.

You made the compression stiffer for washboard surface? Seems anything off-road besides doing high speed whoops and rallying would benefit from the softest setting.

That's my indication i have a broken bulb. Just replace the bulb, just that simple.

I juat changed the flasher box out for a led compatible one. But that was in a 94 suburban so its much simpler thst way.

What's wrong with standard light bulbs? There is no need to spend all that $ for those bulbs and then all this other stuff. When it's all free to you Chloe, no big deal. I'll keep my standard bulbs, they work just fine.

Make sure there is air circulation around that load resistor. Why? If you’re at a traffic light with prolonged waiting periods or the use of hazard flashers. Under these circumstances, that load resistor will become very hot. I’ve done this on several install on various trucks and cars. The temperature of that load resistor can reach well over 150F during that time.
