Wow - that is impressive on all the Lighting Kits you installed - City looks awesome but I agree with you. Must have been frustrating to install. Again - Nice job

I really appreciate these style of videos, thank you! The raw recording, combined with the Lego city, and absence of background music, bring me back to the 2007-2010 era of Lego videos on KZbin. Thanks for sharing once again!

I think the light kits add a nice touch. I use a different company and I believe most of their kits have the powered connection in between the modular floors so you can remove the floors as needed. I do agree, they are a pain to install, but they look great. Thank you for the video and your time. BTY, I just found your channel and subscribed.

Thank you for the video, it's an exceptional lighted city. Hope you won't ever have to sell it. I'm grateful for the privilege of being able to enjoy it, and plan to share it with my sister, who told me that she took her son on a trip to a bigger town in their province just to look at the Christmas lights. Watching this video is much better and more worthwhile, I think! I'm glad I've discovered your channel. May you keep on keeping on.

Thanks. Yes it does put a smile on yer face until you reflect on the price 😊

Just for your info, Game of Bricks are not a Chinese company. They're from Estonia in Northern Europe. I have lights from them in the 7 modulars I have and I agree they are fiddly to install but look great when done. The wireless connectors are definitely worth purchasing but I wish they'd just include them in the kits. Your city looks great. Wish I had the space to do the same 😊

using some spare lights to illuminate the A on the Avengers Tower would be cool

The city looks great lit up! I think though the cost and faff is not for me, lego us supposed to be relaxing after all.

A point well made, I am still undecided on buying light kits for the Avenger tower and Museuem sets

Get 4lb lump hammer out and knock that wall down, it will give you more space so you have room for some track and trains...wait till you get some track n trains running, that will bring a right cheesy grin to you...theres nowt like trains.

Well, I have been thinking about adding a train track and more importantly my wife thinks it might be nice 😊

wow it looks pretty! The rainbow lights seem a bit excessive in some parts. So how do you connect the lights to a power source, with a battery or directly to outlets? I want to know because those lights look useful for a idea I have, but I have no idea what power source it needs.

from a quick bit of research it looks like the lights all go back to a usb...so depends what you plug your usb into, can use sockets or battery.
@MrFaulkers5 ай бұрын
USB multi sockets plugged into the mains via an adaptor. You can get them from Amazon

the light kits ruined the lego right? i’ve seen people drill holes in the pieces
@MrFaulkers7 ай бұрын
Hi, thanks for the feedback. I have not modified any Lego to fit the light kits. My issues are 1. that they can be tricky things to install, and 2. they inhibit the easy disassembly of the model if you wish to look inside, and finally, 3. it can be relatively expensive to fit these to an entire city.
