You should check rebrickable now, there some cool versions with two sets, where it's not just mirrored, e.g also having stairs to the roof, but not two entrances and so on.

Nice! Next, try to add curved roofs to the empty corners where a roof is meant to be. That will bring the look to the next level and truely give that oriental feel

This is how it begins😂, this was literally me 6 months ago with an alt build of a friends set with my daughter, now I have like 6 mocs on rebrickable and an entry in BDP series 5 right now😂
