It's always good if you have any spare worm bedding material in your shed Having different mixtures can be a good way to see how well they breed up in your bins. Mixtures can be simple and cheap.

Good idea to mix up the bedding on the lawn so you can wet it thoroughly, Cher. That looks like a great combination of material. I'm sure you'll see worms in the tray in no time. ~ Sandra

I use bulk mushroom compost in my 6 raised beds each year. Mix the new in with the old. It is the best I have ever used in my garden. I have bought the bag raised bed material and it does not compare to the mushroom compost. My guess is the worms will love the new mixture. Looking forward to seeing the results. Thanks.

Thanks for your question AJ. I do only go to the 3 tier at most because Im not sure how strong the legs would be if adding a 4th. I do have another cafe I could set up but not just now. 🙂🦘Cher
