God, I remember doing a ton of these way back when the game first launched. Off the top of my head, I remenber really liking Weezing (Support), Vikavolt (Attacker), Nidoking (All-Rounder), Falinks (Defender), Stonjourner (Defender) and Porygon (All-Rounder*). Of them, Weezing and Porygon were my favorite- with Porygon in particular being a Scyther/Scizor situation, with Porygon 2 being more of a ranged Support while Porygon Z was a burst mage Attacker.

All very cool ideas! Wish more youtubers did these often. I'll be checking in for future concepts! Maybe you could spend a little more time on each Pokemon if you did them as individual videos. Noivern's passive, Infiltrator, could instead totally ignore shields. Also feel the unite could be reworked to be less redundant to the rest of its moveset and not make it so vulnerable to getting Ko'd while trying to attack others with it. Still overall probably my favorite concept of the three! Really like the Swalot moveset but I could almost as easily see it on Muk instead. Had created my own moveset for Swalot that had a higher focus on immobilizing & Stockpile mechanics. Was not expecting Starmie as a Support but it works! We could also use more Supports rather than Attackers so I like this interpretation of it for that reason. Thought its usage of the Analytic passive was very creative!

I have a video on Abra I made that definitely goes a lot more in depth, if that is what you're looking for. It takes a lot of time to put together, especially with unprecedented effects. For the time being, I'm going to stick with the PowerPoint setup, as it also forces me to not power-creep anything, and is generally easier to produce. I will definitely try to slow my pace and give more detail than what's given in the future. This video was unscripted, so my anxiety took over and I definitely spoke a little fast. Bypassing shields is a good idea for Infiltrator, too. I think Urshifu has a similar effect, and I wanted something different. I figured the speed boost would come in handy for Tailwind, and repositioning for Dragon Pulse. My idea with the Unite Move is that you're invincible while firing the beam. Definitely could've clarified that a bit more. Garbodor and Muk are valid contenders over Swalot. I just tend to associate Swalot with Stockpile more, and given the use of Spit Up/Swallow, Swalot's bigger mouth was needed. Starmie was fun to make, and I think people need to understand that supporters aren't just healers. Not saying every single one needs to be like Sableye, but I always have fun with Barrier Mr. Mime.

@@PotatoBagel23 Powerpoint setup works well. Perhaps one improvement on that could be the avatar not blocking the words, specifically when being talked about, so we can read along. I'll have to check out the Abra video! Ohh, I can imagine some people hating to face against that invincible unite haha. Yeah, Urshifu only partially ignores shields but is also a melee fighter so I thought it'd be different enough. We could use a few more Pokemon like that I'd say. The original passive idea is cool too of course, was just considering not cutting into the Speedsters role too much. I'd love to see Swalot added (over Muk or Garbador) specifically because of its Stockpile mechanics. I just thought more could be done with that theme it brings. In another comment I could explain based off the moveset I've made for it.

@@jakiru8783 I'm most likely going to adjust the scale of the presentation, so both would be on screen. Urshifu's passive works by essentially doing a 30% damage boost to enemies with shield, with that 30% bypassing the shield. If this effect were to be put on a Pokemon who is designed to attack from a range with its move, and have inherent cooldown reductions, that effect would be too powerful. Having a movement speed increase does not impede on what a speedster does. If that's what you believe, I am concerned for you as a player. Also, most unite moves last around 2-3 seconds. Being invincible for that time isn't annoying to deal with, especially when the beam that is being fired down is completely avoidable. I'm aware that I had the unite move in mind closer to Charizard's, but I think having it be closer to Talonflame's Fly would work better. I'm not trying to be rude, as your concerns are in the right places, but they are completely unneeded when looking at some of the nuances in this game's mechanics.

@@jakiru8783 you’re fine. I’ve been editing all day, so I’ve been cooped up for too long. My hostility was not targeted at you specifically, I’ve just been doing a lot. My priority with these videos is to explain the desired effects. I choose to avoid numbers as to not have discussions about what is “too much” or “too little”. The idea behind Noivern’s unite could be closer to Charizards, or it could be like Talon’s Fly. Both work. Same with its passive. If it’s impeding on a role or overshadowing a specific Pokémon, how would you know? This isn’t even real, you know?

Very interesting ideas, swalot is my favorite here, a poison defender would be amazing to stop healing Noivern makes since as an attacker, it would be hard to make it a speedster dew to no melee basic attacks plus its more of a ranged pokemon so i see what your saying Starmie as a supporter is a cool idea, tho it would also make since as a speedster. dew to it slapping with its spikes for a basic attack and its many dash moves but i could see it as a supporter.

@@coolofthedude8345 that’s a valid argument. I thought about it, but it felt weird to have only a single evolution at 5, so I brought it to 4 like A9. Given that Venusaur and Chandelure use odd levels, a case can definitely be made.

Yeah, lvl 5 evo would better put it in line with the rest of the cast, given its Attacker role. Ninetales certainly isn't a bad argument. If it got the passive change of bypassing shields then the lvl-5 might start making a little more sense.

I think Swalot's Unite move would be more fitting and unique if it was like Tahm Kench's Ult in LoL where he can swallow an ally or enemy to reposition them in order to save them or put them in a worse spot respectevely.

Starmie's camolfauge should hide the user and it's allies. That way it would actually support it's allies with it

I've been wanting something similar with how you have Swalot but with Garbodor and him being an Attacker instead, especially the toxic and venoshock combo. Toxic could be like venu's sludge bomb but an even bigger area of effect for CC, and venoshock would just do massive damage to poisoned targets and even more damage to targets still in toxic.
