I have seen the controversy on the facebook page about glassing existing art, and in my opinion, everybody arts in their own way and takes their own path, there are no mistake and there is no wrong way. If you have added to (or amplified) the beauty in this world...the day is good! Art is an action and a feeling, a comfort and a soother...no one should bring negativity to it;)

Wow I love this! This is a great project to up cycle..saving a piece headed for the landfill👏👏👏. Around Halloween I saw many creators taking old dusty paintings & prints and adding ghosts to them.. giving new life perfect for the Halloween holiday! I guess some people don’t know that if the thrift stores don’t sell them in a certain amount of time they toss them out. They are overloaded with framed pictures and not many buyers. Rock on Glass Lady!!

I’m not sure I even understand such a controversy, why there is one. Only created from scratch is better? So, they feel it’s better to toss any art away than make it better 🤨 . Art bought in bulk (at smaller stores, that is mass produced, etc.) most times needs a little help or bling to make it what you, or I, or the buyer wants. I love your videos and appreciate the ideas you give. Thank you.

I love enhancing art with glass and epoxy. I’ve printed images online, and decoupaged napkins onto canvas and applied glass then epoxy. It is so much fun.(PS: I do not sell my work) 😊

How do you get resin to stay on canvas

Well with this canvas it has a lip around it. If you are using a regular canvas and you use a doming or coating resin you can actually just push it to the edges and it will not roll off if your canvas is perfectly level . But i push it over the sides and coat the sides also because I like the edges of the canvas to be shinny too and using a doaming or coating resin it will still leave a nice coat on top!
