No not for me If I had found this art form when i was younger I would have turned it into a business. I just get so much joy out of making this glass art and showing everyone how to do it. If I was selling it I would be worried about how it looked and if the back of the frame was perfect and shipping and all that crazy stuff. i am happy to help you all figure it out and I just enjoy everything that everyone else is making too! But thank you for the compliment! 😊

Love it and as a hopeful beginner will probably start with mod lodge 😅….would love a video on how you reset the glass frame once you completed the project… thank you!
@crazyglassladyКүн бұрын
I know I left that out Sorry So normally I would say to use elmers glue but because you are not using resin which will permanently adhere the glass to the frame once it is set . You should use e 6000 or super glue just do in a well ventilated area. So before you set the glass back in put the glue on the back side of the frame where the glass would sit on the narrow rim and then place the glass on top of that and it should be fine. I hope that helps and FYI I am always happy to answer any questions.

I just love all your videos! They are so well done and a joy to watch. New subscriber. I have one question about cutting glass bottles. How do you do bottles? Do you break the top of off a wine bottle by smashing it at the top with a hammer or is then an another way. I really would love to make these different types of Christmas trees. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and have a Happy New Year.
@crazyglassladyКүн бұрын
Thank you so much! You can buy a bottle cutter to get the top off I have one but never use it I usually just try to smash the top off. I use more vases then bottles, So If you are going to try to make something for the first time try something simple so you do not get discouraged Im sure I have some easy Christmas tree videos. I think I use punch bowl cups for this one.

Love these. Was wondering do you wash the glass in those bags and containers before you use them? I'm not new to resin but I am new to glass and I am curious about that. And Linda, I think you do marvelous work. I love it all 😊❤️
@crazyglasslady5 күн бұрын
I have never washed any of the Ashland decorative filler. I have washed the dollar tree glass, but it faded so it just needs to be rinsed with water and I buy 1/4 inch fire glass from Amazon and the stuff that comes in the bag definitely has to be washed. It’s very dusty. For the most part, you can pretty much look at it and tell whether it’s dusty or not.

Those are so lovely, wish I would of seen this for my craft faire I did...How do you attach string to hang???
@crazyglasslady6 күн бұрын
Well, if you wanted to hang it, you could put the loop of string at the very bottom when you initially pour the resident then it would be permanently stuck to the back or you could use one of the homemakers by little windows or you could just tie a loop on it yourself

Hi Love this Santa! I want to make one but question the use of Sparkling snow that is made of plastic that I found online. The item contains plastic, can I use resin over it? Will it adhere? Or am I better off using confetti? Thanks for your help!
@crazyglasslady6 күн бұрын
You can use it, but you’re better off putting the resin down first and sprinkling it on top of the resin and then it will stick fine
