You sure you want a treated board in that water?? Won’t it leech out the chemicals into your pond?

That’s a good question. I didn’t think much about it at the time. Kinda too late now, but after reading some…I’m not too concerned that it will cause a big issue. The chemicals they use to treat lumber isn’t as toxic as it was in the past. That said, it isn’t ideal. Had I to do again, I’d go a different route. But I think with the volume of water and aeration with the few boards we have in there, it’ll be okay. I guess time will tell. Thanks for pointing that out for others to consider.
