mighty wonderful I was so stuck as my hook would not fit thru the holes and really wanted to use stone beads for a project instead of plastic pearls..... It is magical.... Tell your hubby thank you too... so glad I found your video today 4/8 21.

I was so happy to find this. I’m crocheting a shawl to go over my wedding renewal dress and all of the beads I wanted to apply, the holes were to small. You just solved my problem. Thank you so much.🧶👍🏼

Love the video! Thank you so much for sharing! Have been looking for an easier way to do this! To implement this method into for a project I want to work on! And thank you Natalie for sharing this video with us over at YarnObsession! Becky, you've inspired her to use your method here, in a project she did as well. She shared her project over there, and she must have been meant to share that project of hers (VERY BEAUTIFUL BTW), because this was an answer to an unasked question I've been trying to figure out alone. And FTR, for your trouble getting the middle of beads to fit over and into your work, use a bead reamer. This will help to open the holes (as the reamer also files while you are running it thru the beads), and also for those beads that have parts sticking around in them, from the inside of the hole. Will fix that right up! Awesome video. Thank you for making it! :)

Becky I'd like to thank you for saving me a lot of frustration. I am so glad you left in the parts where you had difficulty instead of making it look like a flawless process. I was trying to figure out how to add beads to a very tiny (bedspread weight, size 6 steel hook) halo for angel I'd like to give my mother for mother's day. It never crossed my mind to use sewing thread. Thank you so much for posting this and enabling me to finish my project.

Oh God Bless you!! Thank you sooo much!! I am stuck in the house with Covid so I couldn't run out and get a tiny hook and didn't want to have to wait for an online order to come! You're awesome. Thanks again for sharing the thread tip!

Just came across this video. Thank you for sharing how to add beads to a crochet project and also showing how the diameter of beads are not consistent and how to overcome that.

cool trick idea from your hubby i totally need this as seed bead r very small. i will try it with a super thin wired instant of thread n needle as i got some cheap seed bead that will not go throught my sewing needle.

really helpful. If a bead has a hole that is too narrow for the yarn - I will try adding the bead to a few threads of the yarn rather than the full strand. I am just begining to try this - but I feel inspired! can't wait to try it!! Thanks for sharing!
