Dear Underbelly, Uncle Joe is keeping too many cpu-heavy sausages in the house again. The whole family keeps getting fat and slow and now Derek sometimes can't run anymore. So you’re sending these tracks to other buses to give space and depth but what’s on those buses that’s achieving said space and depth?
@kei-lk2zv2 жыл бұрын
I think the buses had different panning settings. One maybe more left and the other more right

And on those buses are different reverb settings. These two things combined help create beneficial space

Didn't you say in one of your earlier videos that duplicating a track and then panning one of them to the left and the other one to the right is pointless, because it's the same as having it centered? Isn't that what you're doing to some tracks in this video?
@tborminator6 жыл бұрын
move one of them out of phase and it adds space
@hypnauticamusic6 жыл бұрын
You can see just by looking at the waveforms that they aren't identical. Likely they are processed differently or slightly time shifted from one another. If you do that and then hard pan left and right you end up with stereo seperation because the elements aren't perfectly in phase with each other.
@Suffixification6 жыл бұрын
They are panned because they are mono and are different clips. So two together create a stereo effect (because you hear stereo as a difference between left and right channel)
@yousuckatproducing6 жыл бұрын
hypnautica is correct, they are different recordings
